  1. Joystick Gremlin, Key2Joy and UCR in mean time fill in all missing advanced functions (including hold, tempo and advanced macros, profiles on the fly and what not). VPC software already has really well working button 2 axis (this is awesome for TDC), axis 2 button, versatile switch function config (latching, momentary encoder - any switch can be configured like that) axis merging, profile switching etc. The major things I am missing are tempo eg. press X get A logical, press X again get B logical, X again, get A etc. (ABCDEFG... would be good too). Have a timeout parameter - reset the sequence after given time of inactivity eg. 20 seconds, start from A no matter where we stopped before. hold eg. press X for 0.01 seconds, get A, press X for 1 second get B etc. This hobby at "high end" requires a bit of technical inclinations, but it's not rocket science. ps. I've attached the profile I use which has additional X/Y axis - they are coupled to 5-way hat, good for TDC with some curves. Also two switches on the right (T2&T3) are reprogrammed to latching, so UP/DOWN positions are separate logical buttons and hold they value (gear, master arm etc.). Made it in VPC_Configurator_Light_20180913_upd3. You will need to backup your keybindings in DCS and restore them after you upload this profile to your device. No warranty and support too ;) VPC Throttle_MT50 [PCBv06] - latching T2-T3 and axis slew.zip
  2. Contact their support.
  3. "As we are moving away from taking pre-orders" ^^^^ really good move. Tempted to buy a 2nd base, it's so good.
  4. I understand the language barrier (English is not my 1st language too), but you just contradicted yourself here and claimed that "many people have twist axis". Well, I do, in my forearms, certainly, I think majority of people do .:) You getting winded up by asking about twist axis on "hardcore" combat flight sim forum where people get annoyed when a switch on a throttle has slightly different shape than its real life counterpart. If you thought you would get anything else but strong opinions, you should probably get a grip ;)
  5. You can find exact numbers in the log, but it's really small.
  6. You are on DCS forum. Yes, we fly aviation combat sims only as far as the forum is concerned. Nobody here cares about twist axis, in context of this forum. The headline in top left corner says "DCS - Digital Combat Simulator", it's really hard to miss. Can we have pedals with twist Y axis (or Z), separate for each foot and foot finger operated tensioner?
  7. I have both Warthog and T-50 grip and prefer plastic a lot. I wish we could get the same quality western like grip (F-18). IMO metal is pure marketing thing, it doesn't really add anything except a feel of "expensive/quality".
  8. Considering the amount and level of support I've got from you guys, I am a bit reassured. Please understand that a product discontinuation after such short time on the market is never going to be taken lightly, except if you are Apple ;). Looking forward to your new T-50 level base. Make if FFB and you will have a customer :)
  9. Imo, it's not good for the customers that T-50 base has been discontinued due to reasons stated (no extensions etc.). I've seen this coming tho. Probably good for the company. I hope the support for T-50 base continues, as some of us may potentially be left with an relatively expensive piece of metal if something goes wrong. Somehow I don't think there will be a steady stock of spare parts kept for this base... hope I am wrong. I am definitely going to be very careful when purchasing future products as this doesn't really inspire confidence, despite how good the products are.
  10. A relatively minor upgrade to current T-50 would be great. 4 way + push instead single thumb button (the one on the side) and a key press when lifting front trigger. Don't care about analogue sticks on the grip, not very useful, and the one which is in place of trim in other product is awful and hampers the usefulness of the stick. I never understood twist axis except as a great way of getting RSI :)
  11. Joystick Gremlin and mentioned Joy2Key both can do what you want
  12. I just set mine as a dropbox sync folder. Not only you get a backup every time you change something, but also rollback to previous version.
  13. Well scratch that. Despite changing nothing it started to crash again - right after I request startup from ATC during mission #1. :( I have reinstalled the campaign.
  14. Pre-order was bit painful. I am sure majority of logistic issues are resolved now. I hope Virpil becomes super reliable/easy to order from company, because the products they make deserve it. ps. please fix T-50 base cams mounting screws! :)
  15. Update on this one - looks like one of the mods I've been using was conflicting with this - it works now.
  16. DCS crashes for me when I request startup from ATC after the instructor asks me to. I am on current beta.
  17. I'd buy this tomorrow if it would work with DCS. I doubt it's going to happen for the reasons stated above.
  18. You will be definitely sticking with Warthog when you get it.
  19. My stick was purchased after this has been announced.
  20. Ok, after a couple of months I've decided to attempt to change cams just for fun. Now I know what people are talking about. It wasn't fun at all. This is from my experience, your mileage may vary. These cams are not changeable in its current state without risking damage to the screws. I am not sure what sort of combination of military strength thread lock and swiss cheese screws is used, but without specialized tools, average user won't be able to remove them without stripping. Heating does not help. Virpil needs to rethink this part as far as I am concerned. I'd stop advertising this base as having changeable cams until then.
  21. Yes, it is.
  22. Yeah, I remember having similar thing going when I did one of my configurations - unfortunately I don't have it anymore and what I remember is to vague to file a bug report. I am sure this will be resolved - mine is hard to recreate as it happens randomly, sometimes after 1 minute, sometimes need to wait for 20+ minutes. I've reverted the switches to default and no issues, but it's not ideal :)
  23. Look at the date of my original post - it's water under the bridge. I currently do not live in the US.
  24. I have similar issue with T2/T3 throttle switches. The intermittently switch themselves ON/OFF, See attached pic. yellow marked presses happened without me touch the throttle at all after about 20 minutes ov VPC tester running. I have reconfigured them to act as separate button in up/down position. I don't believe it's hardware issue. Ticket logged, but no response so far.
  25. I don't have any jitter at all on any of the axes. Did you update the firmware/loaded correct profile? Smoothing is set to 4x on rZ axis (lever).
