  1. This is valid for S-13 rockets and only S-8 rockets used on helicopters (standard aircraft S-8 work fine). Moreover there is another problem that all rockets emerge and fire from the point of the sticking one, it is valid for both S-8 and S-13. I am attaching a screenshot and a track. RocketsS8error.trk
  2. In 1.2.12 - Su-25T HUD does not indicate waypoint numbers in route mode and it also does not indicate airfield numbers in VZV mode, which makes navigation difficult. Screenshots attached.
  3. I can confirm this. It seems that we have a new model of the S-13 launcher and something has gone wrong.
  4. The recommended nose-up attitude for touching down should be between 9-14 degrees.
  5. Here is a nice video illustrating some smooth Mig-21MFs landings - notice how gentle the actual touchdowns are:
  6. landing with such parameters would most probably end your career in east block air-force unless it was an emergency :) I am saying that because we have one such aircraft, which served only as a teaching tool after such landing. The gear can withstand such landing, but its fuselage got slightly bent putting the aircraft out of service. Touchdown speed should be maximally 330 km/h and descent rate should be lower than 1 m/s. You should normally flare at 1 meter above ground and let the aircraft gently touchdown. This is what the pilot's manual says and what I witnessed when I saw Mig-21s land - I haven't tested it yet in the sim, so good luck
  7. I cannot confirm this, remember that not all airports have the ILS system. I've just landed at Krasnodar with Su-25T in 1.2.11. I am attaching a screenshot with correct ILS indications on the HUD (K-G) and HSI as well.
  8. Now I get it, sorry... Today, I've tested it extensively to replicate it (around 30 KH-25ML launches with moving the reticle before and after launch after ground stabilization). So far I haven't encountered this problem, it works well with my setup .
  9. I suggest you to use the trim for flying the flanker with keyboard ... it might work. If it is slow you can try to increase keyboard repeat rate.
  10. It may be not a bug, but a feature, laser tends to jump even when stabilized when it illuminates angled/sloped grounds at certain angles at longer distances. Just fly closer and it should stabilize - it is actually how the real laser behaves because of aircraft vibration which are hard to stabilize and uneven/angled surfaces, which then make the laser jump. You can simulate it with a laser pointer :)
  11. It's been finally solved in the latest patch (1.2.11) !
  12. For RL Su-25 it is suggested to start rotation at 160-180 km/h at nominal load by pulling the stick from 1/2 to 2/3 range with nominal load, with full load the rotation should be done at 200-220 km/h. The front wheel should lift at 190 - 240 km/h. This is perfectly replicable in the sim and shows how good the flight model is  . For Su-25T the speeds increase by some 10-20 km/h. Full flaps should always be used during take-off. :pilotfly:
  13. Both jammer indications are now on the HUD, moreover turning on Sukhogruz now produces also very characteristic and somewhat annoying sound. I say, good job with the T-frog ED!, I am very happy with this update.
  14. Cannot confirm in official 1.2.11, no problems with Su-25T gears so far.
  15. It wouldn't be realistic, the real Su-27 as most of the Russian aircraft uses a trim operated by a discrete four way switch on the stick.
  16. Good idea, it would be a great asset for IR weapons live firing practice
  17. I wouldn't buy DCS level F-14 without AI RIO, so I hope they will implement it at least on some basic level. Voice recognition would be cool to have to give commands, but a third party soft like VAC can do the job.
  18. I thought so, thanks a lot for this info - it is much appreciated (as well as your efforts to test it).
  19. I hope that Ka-50/Mi-24 AI cannon usage isue will be fixed as well. Serious AI landing problems would be also a nice fix - but I have already given up on this and accept that many of my missions end up with AI crash on landing
  20. Well I think it is not so simple that a western aircraft would communicate with Eastern EWR. EWR/GCI certainly uses special signal modulation/encryption, which needs to be compatible with the receiver, so you certainly wouldn't be able just to tune EWR frequency and listen to EWR commands to fighters sent to intercept you in your F-18/16/15. Mig-29s from my country couldn't communicate with NATO aircraft at all, they gained the capability only after a special modernization and even then they are still not fully compatible. Communication between western/eastern hardware is not so simple as one would imagine.
  21. I am from 55-60 to 47-50 ... nothing dramatic, so far enjoying the beauty of the cockpit and the model. I am just disappointed by peoples' reaction so far - it's been only several hours since the release and nearly all topics address some minor problems. Sure there are some and always will be, however the aircraft is so fantastic and polished (nothing really major is missing) and setting a new bar for all. I say, great job LN - take a deep breath and a bit of rest, you guys deserve it and you've done fantastic job with Mig-21 !
  22. Well a two ship AI Mig-21 (or any other plane) is still not able to land normally :no_sad: - I reported this some six months ago... Above that, Ka-50 or Mi-24 still does not engage with their guns...I would rather like to see those improvements above all else, as these are pretty basic AI skills.
  23. NPP is just an indicator and can work in different modes of operation. It can be used for Radio navigation (this is the RSBN system - Radio technical system for short range navigation) or it can be connected to an inertial navigation and display navigation data from virtual waypoints. Su-25 uses IKV-1 system for inertial navigation, which is working with DISS-7 doppler navigation and V-144 onboard computer. In Su-25 the system can have 3 virtual waypoints pre-programmed and 4 target waypoints (airfields). Basically there are only 2 things simplified in DCS World for Su-25. First is that you can have more than 3 way-points and the second is that it switches between the waypoints automatically.
  24. Also remember that the cockpit is hermetically sealed and pressurized and this dampens all external and engine sounds a lot - speaking of my own experience. The current sounds are pretty realistic.
  25. Creating the framework for Multiplayer cockpits using L-39 as a test-bed is not important enough?
