From the vids I've seen OFP2 looks and sounds like it's going to be way better than ArmA2.. Here's what I want to know though; when I first purchased ArmA I assumed it was actually OFP2, in the way Lockon was the successor to Flanker 2.5 so when heard about OFP2, I thought WTF did I buy then heh :D.. It may sound like a stupid question but why develop two first person shooter sims that will inevitably compete with one another?:dunno:

Another great post Alfa.. Trying to keep some semblance of realism I only use the Su33 for CAP missions, fleet defense etc .. Although I do let wishful thinking get in the way and blow stuff up on the ground with the Su33 from time to time. However my real hope is that one day we see a Mig29K in DCS, I think that's more likely than a su33 even though my favorite is the Sukhoi.

How scripted?? ;).. An F18 got a guns kill against an F22 .. or maybe not ;). Anyway an F16 WVR kill against a Eurofighter ?.. I'd like to know what the ROE was for that engagement. Were there more than one Falcon, did they merge first, was it just ACM practice, or was the F16 given an advantage etc. Even so you'd still have to expect an F22 or Typhoon to loose at some point but that doesn't mean it's an actual capability of the opposing aircraft.
