OK first have a look at this, it's a better quality screen shot. This is exactly what it looks like for me and as you can see there is no loss in quality, no jagged edges etc. I'm not sure why it's not working like that for you but I'll have to PM you tomorrow.

I just tried the one you posted above and in game it was as good as the original. Here's a pic but it looked much better than the .jpg image below.

Thx I thought you might have customized it to your own default res... also as you probably know the image has to be a perfect square so you don't see the black part. Anyway I think I figured out how to get zero quality loss .. I'm uploading a file now and I'll PM you in a second.

Yep you should be able to do that with out any problems. One more question for you ;) . .. does the default Mainscreen look pixelated to you or is it ok? Thanks.

Most polls are pretty much equal in regards to Reduced G V Full Real. Personally I use Full real but Online I'm fine with what ever the server is running. It doesnt bother either way whether it's Full or Reduced.

UFO = Unidentified Flying Object ;). In flightsim we use that term to describe maneuvers that would be impossible in real life. If you look at your game settings you'll see that you can set Gs to; no Gs, Reduced Gs or Realistic Gs. With it set to No G or reduced you can pull as many Gs as you like for as long as you like with out blacking out. This increases the UFO effect of impossible flight which allows you to evade missile after missile by exploiting the fact that LO missiles can be evaded with a magic high G pull on the stick at the right time. And please don't ask what the most realistic G setting is lol becasue that's a whole other debate.. or can of worms.

You get an A grade for your commentary :thumbup:. But as has been stated you can out range the the Mig so don't fly strait at him once you've fire becasue you're just getting into your opponents firing range.

Listen to GG. You can't learn anything from that video other than "labels + (No G/reduced G)= UFO".

The stretching is the same for everyone I'm afraid even if you look at Superkungfu's screen on page one it is also slightly stretched. However the image you posted looks rather pixelated so if I could ask that you try this one, I just made, at a higher res (1280) and post your results back here in your own time then that would be great. I think the manual, BS demo and LO:FC should keep me busy enough for 90 days. Anyone remember the Lockon demo?? Some clever people figured out how to make missions for it.. and the missions were pretty good too. Hopefully we'll be able to do the same thing for the BS demo.

Helicopters are cool, I've flown them for years in FS9 and I've been waiting for something like this for ages. Of course fighter jets are my favorite but helicopters are fun on a different level. Also I have a feeling that BS will take online coops to a whole new level, similar to ArmA and that will help to build and develop a healthy, populated online environment so it'll be there ready and waiting for when we're flying fighters.

I'm not trying to push a point, I understand why we have to wait 90 days for BS to be distributed in the west but in the age of the internet where you can purchase films, music etc from around the world then I was just thinking if it was possible for ED to make the English version of BS available internationally from Russia bypassing the censors so to speak altogether. Ah OK that's basically what I was getting at. Too bad it works like.. I knew it but I'm sure I've seen films released in some countries on DVD made available to purchase internationally before they would have got a DVD rating in another country, if you see what I'm getting at. No big deal I waited a long time for the DVD of FC to be released after the DL version came out so 90 days aint so bad.

Heh you'd think they'd at least pay for an X-52. :P I mean most of us have more equipment to fly a virtual plane and he's flying an actual aircraft :D . Edit: I guess CH gear and Track IR come with the deluxe package :D.

Yeah I know that but my point is that if on the 17th we'll be able to buy the Russian DVD from Russia then why not the English version as well? That way we won't have to wait the extra 90 days.

I have a M$FFB 2.. And it works great. Stick shaker for stall just like the real thing, stick centering increases the faster you go, Rumble when firing the cannon on AFM aircraft etc..

I have a serious question: why can't we purchase (DVD) BS from Russia? Is there some kind of legal reason stopping ED from selling an English version of BS to us folks outside of Russia?

Because of that I'd recommend a good force feedback stick. In Lockon FC right now flying the AFM aircraft (Su25/T) with FFB is just awesome, even the the other flyables with out AFM are just soo much better IMO with forces that I wouldn't consider anything else ;) . But I know some people like their buttons :P . Ok on a side note I thought it was Nagging Nadia for the Russians and Bitching Betty for the U.S? When did Rita get invited to the party?
