Respect! For me, the F-15E is my baby. A big fast heavy hitter with nice tech toys - my Space Shuttle of Death. But it needs more weapons. No doubt about it. The GBU-28 is a must. This plane is screaming for beeg badabooms!

I hope they release the Enterprise to go along with it. I think this is where I fell in love with the F-104.

Amen! They are good fun to fly and a challenge to kill stuff with. I've only tried them on the trials, but the I like the L-39 a bit more. I like the MB-339 the most but I'm waiting for it to go on sale.

DCS ain't cheap. Not if you go the enthusiast route. On the other hand DCS isn't like any other game. You want THE cutting edge military jet fighter/helicopter simulator at your fingertips? Dig deep, baby! But there's nowhere else you can have a single platform with so many cool high-fidelity planes and choppers and all that delicious "Kaboom!" I'd be happy if people in countries with a "different financial system" could get a break on module prices, but I don't have the answer to that concern. I'm not a finance guy, just a worker bee.

I would still love to see ORBX DLC airfields. Hell, make me a high-def NTTR map with super-duper airfields. I'll pay good money for that. The FPS might suck for combat, but what a great testing range it would be just for the fun of flying and trying things out.

Maybe the continued interest in the Mi-8 means the cockpit might get some love one day. Such a fantastic chopper but the cockpit needs a paint job.

The CH-47 is going to be like the Mi-8 on steroids. I really enjoy the Mi-8 but the cockpit graphics desperately need some love. The Chinook is probably going to be at the Apache level of eye candy and that will be just fine. Maybe a pre-order tomorrow?

Again, I could be totally wrong, that's just the way I heard it. But I'll be very happy to see it come out soon. Give me the Chinook and Kola, and everything else can wait.

Very surprised to see the CH-47 will come out before the Phantom. I thought the Chinook was at least a year off. but it's fine with me if it's in two-weeks. Not much of a Phantom phan but that big ass CH-47 is likely going to be a blast fly. I guess outside of a .50 in the door, this thing will be unarmed. I wonder if they will add any special tricks to make up for it.

Wags said in an interview a day or two ago that the CH-47 is the next module to release. Sweet! Two-weeks I guess.

It's like the Tomcat in that it's a big two-seater, and it has wings, and it flies. So there's that. Otherwise, it's a much different experience. And it's what you make of it.

Yeah, was playing with it before. Good fun. But with JDAMs you can set up your own little pinpoint Arc Light strike from 30,000' and take out maybe eight targets in one lovely tight series of badabooms! It's a great show to watch on the MFD.

Get Voice Attack! Voice command software. Best and cheapest way to keep your eyes on the screen and off the keyboard. Great for people without fancy expensive HOTAS setups with 100 buttons and switches. Inexpensive, downloadable, easy to use, immersive, effective, intuitive, customizable, and fun. Best $10 you can spend on DCS.

On the contrary, my esteemed fellow flyer, every target I wish immolated is a good target. An airplane hangar, a small building, a schmuck in a jeep, all will feel the love of the GBU-28 as soon as I have it.

Really need the GBU-28s. This thing is all about big bombs.
