Your enthusiasm is yours to manage as you please, of course. My enthusiasm, however, remains enthusiastic. I want all the fancy flightsim enjoyment I can have. And a DCS C-130, for me certainly, is top of the list. And I'll pre-order, twice, to get my hands on that kind of flying fun. Actually I will pre-order twice, I'm getting one for me and one for a content creator. As stated, I'm very enthusiastic. I think this is a great step forward for the sim.

Seems to be the case that Steam always gets the discount.

I've got my Steam wallet loaded up for this. Just have to wait now. Probably going to be a Top 3 module for me right away. I spend a lot of time in DCS just flying for fun, and this will take it to the next level. I pop into the civy sim sometimes, spend ten-minutes, be unamused, and then get right back into DCS just to fly around and enjoy the planes. With the C-130 the deal is sealed. One sim fits all.

YES! The C-130 is #1 on my list. Keep your Typhoons and Tornados, I want my Hercules.

Next Steam sale is in 61 days. And DCS stuff is always on sale during Steam sales.

Yeah, it would be good to change the publisher name. In any case, it's a great map. If you want wide open spaces and big mountains, it's fantastic.

Indeed. I will fly my Strike Eagle and Harrier until the last possible moment. And after that last possible moment, if they are unusable, I'd like to see some ED love come my way as a kind of "apology". But I can't imagine what form that would take. A beer would be nice.

Reality is for people who can't handle flight simulators.

A lot of us DCS-types aren't 21 anymore cough... so a little clarity on the MFD, even if a touch enhanced, is sometimes welcome. Or maybe you could put an option in the graphics settings menu for Gen Z, Millennial, and Boomer.

The update post was 1 hour and 40 minutes early by usual standards. We'll let it pass this time... Hornet and Viper goodies. Very nice!

I didn't know that was possible. But I'm still keeping mine.

Just scored the Mig-21 this aft, with that lovely discount no less. It was the last one on my list of things to get. I got it more for the "museum aspect" than for any real plans to make missions with it. Had it recently on the free trial and I just enjoy flying it around and experiencing the Mig-ness of it. And those landings... And now I await my C-130. That's a big #1 on my list of modules I'm waiting for.

Nobody has a sense of humour. I was just having fun with the wording. I mean, c'mon, everyone want to be extra special. Need Nick Grey to pop in with that magnificent voice: "Everything is fine... you're awllll extra special pilots to us."

I am an ED customer. Eight-years and four-digits worth. Just a shame we Steam folk aren't extra special pilots too. Oh well.

The heading on the first page says: Extra special savings for extra special pilots! But there are no extra special savings for the Steam crowd. That means we're not extra special pilots. Now I'm sad again.

Agreed. It's an excellent map with insane detail, but I tend to use it more for sightseeing, and takeoffs and landings, than anything else. I find it a bit... busy and flat. That's not a bad thing, it's just personal taste. I'm more of a Kola and South Atlantic kind of flyer. But that's the great thing about a variety of map styles, there's something for everyone. I'm sure there are a lot of people who think the Germany map is the cat's ass for their flying style. And it is an amazing map, but I wouldn't put it in my top three. Not because of a lack of quality, but geographic preferences.
