Great work. Very cinematic.

Drive system of the abrams is a bit heavier than the BS. Tracks are not light. I am surprised at how strong the BS is against Hind. From head on there are many times when I can not get a lock on them and the Hind gunner lights me up with his cannon. I am usually fine for probably 2-3 second bursts from him. If I have started turning away I can even sometimes land. Similar to the Hind when I do get my cannon rounds on him first. My burst from cannon usually lights up at least one engine and sends him diving for a soft place to set down.
-
Anyone know the story on this type of HIND?
-
I seem to get quicker kills on TANKS faster with HEI than with AP. I usually disable a BMP with one short burst. This is at more than 1.5km.
-
I get plenty of kills on tanks with HEI rounds. Actually seems to kill them easier than the AP rounds.

Guilty. I try to see if I can do landings like in movies. Where they zoom in at like 100km IAS and flare at the last second and come out of the flare a few meters off the ground. That will either get me in vortex or 100agl. I then try to get back to my desired altitude of like 30agl very quickly. Thus starting a vortex state in this way. I have done it good sometimes, but usually I am unsuccessful. Helps in the movies that they are not trying to land inside a small FARP circle I guess.

Take On Helicopter - New game by Bohemia Interactive

Ground textures look horrid in MacadamCow's videos posted. -
Wind on the windward side is smashing into the mountain at whatever its airspeed is. This can easily push a helicopter down. I also thought the radar altimeter went to 300agl?

That thing would be an extreme headache to write the flight control computer programing for. The wings swing out hinged in the back. That must make the transition from High speed to low speed a bit tricky. Not for an AI disco ball pilot of course. -
Bs only uses ffb for trim to keep stick in position, there is no stick shake.

Hmm, that actually looks more cozy than my sofa. And I could launch missiles. What does the eyepiece to the gunner's right sight?
-
Wow, monacle view is handled very well in my mind. Still interested in seeing how weapons are handled besides the pilots gun. The GUI is great in the "hangar" though.

Saw the convoy. Saw the Hog fly over at the end. Did not see the CAS part though. :) What dropped the cluster bomb?

Was wags talking about a FFB stick or non FFB? When I press the button my stick disengages and I feel pressure. If I use a keyboard key for trim as it in default, when I press that key my stick snaps back to center. My trim button is the pinky on my G940. I hold till attitude is correct then release and the chopper stays close to that position. My move a bit due to the stick not being held vice tight. If I do not hold trim while maneuvering I have to fight the AP. Then when I press the trim button the chopper lurches a bit. Smoothest way is to hold the trim button till done making changes then release. I have my FFB settings on my G940 at about 30%. Holding trim button does not disengage the dampers though. If it was a real helo I am not even sure you would be able to move the stick without holding the trim. Pressing trim in the game is the same concept. It basically unlocks the position of the stick. Without pressing trim you are basically fighting the aircraft.

Is that a professional/commercial license? That is like 10x more expensive than in the USA for a private up to 12k lbs license.

+1 Much better deal. Not saying I wouldnt buy it if I was stupid rich and could waste my money on dumb things whenever I wanted.
-
Even if it could not, it was a working helicopter. Not sure what problems kept it from being completed. Stupid politicians: "Over the course of the Comanche's development, multiple government agencies would cut the number of helicopters to be ordered, especially on the basis that the Cold War had ended (the Peace Dividend), and this caused unit cost projections to rapidly climb, while led to the program encountering critics such as the Army Acquisition Executive James Ambrose, who had declared that the Army would not have an aircraft "costing a dollar over $7.5 million" Unit cost of an apache ~ $20 million. Rah-66 is one A/C I would be happy as a lark to see the Chinese copy.

The bullet holes on the Pirate Su25 look very real. :)

Great shot Bart but can you increase the depth of field a bit more. I think its a bit too blurry. -

B1B is not very exciting for a combat sim. -
Hmm, that led to some interesting videos. I have a Wii I never use. Maybe I will make one of those gloves. :book:

Looks awesome, but I would be so pissed I cant push the buttons in the cockpit. Its so realistic looking I need to be able to push those buttons.

Found it a bit funny that a B52 needs external pylons for bombs.

I added all files and text as instructed but I only get the black tiger to show up in available skins. Not sure what I have done wrong.

Flooded? Not sure what the false start switch does, but maybe you can motor the engines to clear them out.
