Yeah, its hollywood so I generally do not give much credence to the plot. Even if it says based on actual events. Through the movie I was pretty much thinking, hey did ED produce this movie? Realistic and movies does not usually equal entertaining.

I have a dream for that level of environmental detail as well. For some reason many sim fans think the only thing that needs to be simulated as accurately as possible is the air craft.

Movie was pretty good. Some big names in it too. Lots of HIND action and some quick SU25 shots.

F18 is ugly. Super cockpit moreso. Too big for body I think. Rafale would be sweet. F4 is one of my favorites and would love a sim for that, but very doubtful unless it comes from Jet Thunder group. F14 is my other favorite cold war plane. It did get its time in the super sim spotlight though, if I remember correctly.

I thought you could have a button on joystick to disable TrackIR. I do not have trackIR yet though. That is my next purchase. Thanks for the tips on the SPAD. I have been using energy techniques. I spiral up till I am at least 1km away and then usually try to dive back onto him. I guess I then waste my energy trying to come back to him on the way up and put more rounds into him and should instead keep climbing back to my perch. When I get stuck with him, I do put some distance and then turn and try a head on shot. Usually get a short squeeze off before he pulls left to not hit me. Trying to keep the pipper on him from his 6 is nearly impossible, but I can usually keep him there to get a few rounds off but they do not seem to do much damage. Of course my best fight with him was after he damaged my right aileron. :huh: The couple times I did get him down. I think once he just ran out of gas as I must have hit his tank because he was not even in front of me when it said I got him. Then I moved to the Fokkers and that lasted for about 5 minutes before I exploded. I think they are DV8s. Is this the same tactic? Boom and Zoom one at a time?

I am playing the unlimited demo now. I can not seem to beat the final training mission with the dogfighting. I am flying the spad and I must really suck in these old planes. I can beat the single albatros some times, but other times I can not seem to get him off my tail once he gets there. I can not keep my SA at the cross so by the time I get my view pan around to find him, he is already halfway through his turn and getting to my six. When I try to turn as sharp I can sometimes stay with him for a bit but then eventually get into a stall. Must be a AoA stall because my airspeed is still plenty high around 120km/h. I have been on his tail at times and can keep him in my sights for a bit but do not seem to get enough lead into him and eventually he shakes me and ends up on my tail. I am sure I just need to keep practicing, but can anyone give some good tips on maneuvers to get on any enemies tail?

x58 is outclassed by cheaper 2500k system especially when overclocking like you have. For intel get a 2500k (HT in 2600k is not good for most gaming and needs to be disabled). Get 4gb of ram at least. Win7 HP x64. I would get no less than a 560ti SOC or HD6950(unlocked to 6970). For AMD grab a x6 1090 as they can be had this week for $169 on Newegg with [H] code: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1614204 Everything else the same. If you can wait another month AMD "SHOULD" be releasing their new chips but I think that has been the story for the last couple months, or its my anticipation.

I am sure when they get a natural disaster they will be quick to call us for help. Oh wait, Japan is already doing that. I have no doubt that Korea would sell us out though. Did not know we were allies. Why shouldnt we spend my tax dollars on helping them out. A defecting pilot is a bit different than an ally selling our secrets. Amazing that the military still has that much WW2 machinery in clean working condition. Those all looked to be in better condition than they would have during WW2.

If Pakistan is our allies why would they give our secrets away? Should have just carpet bombed all of Pakistan once we heard that Bin Laden was there. I think the giant super choppers are not the basis of this stealth chopper. They are too big. Size of the tail boom does not look to be the correct scale for something the size of the S-92. Also external travel tanks do not need to be stealth. They can be dropped before getting to the stealth area. Door gunners would hurt stealth too so I doubt it would be equipped with them. Also doubt they would just through some stealth stuff on a black hawk without thinking to upgrade the engines somehow. Not like they just hammered this thing together the night before and just said, "good enough". That is what Area 51 is for. Flight testing these things without anyone seeing them.

Not bad but needs more transitions. Goes straight from drops to streaks and needs a bit of in between.

I want to know who the target at 1:28ish was. Pretty expensive single person to take out with a smart bomb. :)

I am not a mig expert by any means, but those Mig 29 appear to have tumors on their dorsal regions. Is that fuel or something else?

F and G were canceled unfortunately. Would love to have an intruder or prowler sim, but I find it unlikely.

UAV maybe. Not sure what explosives the seals carry, but that does not look like grenade damage.

Thats why I said downgraded. Like a Chinese F22 basically. Hell sell it with no radar or avionics and leave it up to the indians to throw in some of their own from some other current plane. Cant be that hard to equip an F22 with other parts. :music_whistling:
