I'm serious TBH mate. The sceptics always seem to come out after the 'first round is fired'. He seems to know what he is on about, and clearly thinks that i`m completely wrong, so fairplay i say. PIP..................Proof Is in the Pudding. Like i said, i look forward to his own IVS that will offer greater clarity than my own without compromising the 50% 'fun' factor that NONE of us should compromise. High Fidelity Sim or not, we do this for fun. So my advice to 'Z' when he spends hours and hours making one high quality vid (i speak for experience), is to leave the semantics at the door, leave the complex explanations out of it and tell people what they 'want to know, and how to do it' GL 'Z', seriously. And, i very much look forward to your own video series. //waiting

You are missing the point. 5 mill allows you to utilise the method of delivery as a 'consent to release' function, at almost level flight using mk82 airs or cluster munitions, using the CCIP method. That was the whole point of the video, to explore the fact that CCIP mode is NOT just limited to Manual Release.. Think outside the box people, Warfare is not linear or symetrical. 'T'

Hi there, Why not take a look at this file / mod package for DCS BlackShark and see if you can't tailor it to your needs. http://74thvirtual.co.uk/downloads/files/Mods/DCSBS/chatKA50.zip Regards 'T'

Select 32 bit on installation and it will install 64 and 32 bit versions.

Firstly, go take a look at my IVS on youtube and 'listen' to the opening brief which summarises using the 'why we do what we do BECAUSE of.................' method. Secondly, understand that the 5 mill method is best used (ccip) on a low level engagement using appropriate munitions, for example, Mk82 airs or even Cluster munitions set at the the right HOF. The 5 mill method enables us to have an almost level attitude (up to -5mil) before weapons release.

Deadzones for X-52 Pro for DCS A-10C
Heli Shed replied to bunraku's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Just read this properly. 1. Right click on your x52pro flight control system icon in the clock region of the taskbar. 2. Select control panel. 3. make sure you note the Z axis on the test tab. 4. Move your throttle the full movement, fwd and aft. 5. with the throttle all the way to the rear, do you see any 'red' in the Z Axis? 6. If the answer is Yes, unplug your X52pro from your system. 7. Reboot. 8. plug back in 'after' windows has restarted. 9. Check 1-5 above, after windows has 'redetected'. This will solve your problem, trust me. Regards 'T' -
Deadzones for X-52 Pro for DCS A-10C
Heli Shed replied to bunraku's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Deadzones 3, including rudder. Curvature 13-15 is good for me. leave the rest at 100. GL 'T' -
in short, unless there is a mod out there, no. There may however, be a way to edit a .cfg or .lua file. I'll investigate. standby.

Good call Mav, single GPU = dedicated unhindered performance. You will see a huge difference. 'T'

I'll match your card anyday. my dads harder than yours. I got a better job than you. I'm harder than you. My porsche is better than whatever you have. Personal opinions are more often than not, sheer garbage unless backed up with personal experience, knowledge and experience of the subject matter. Clearly you have never had an ATI card because if you had, you would not have made such a daft statement! I have owned NVidia cards and ATI Cards, I've owned Intel and AMD, I've owned Phillips and BenQ, I've had cornflakes for breakfast AND Shredded wheat. Horses for courses, apples and pears, my wife and her sister. They all have strengths and weaknesses, but one thing is for sure, they are all pretty good!
-
don't even think about it until you have at least complied with my request. Your 4870x2 is a 256 bit monster of a card. infact you will see little difference in performance with the others. get on TS and lets go through it. 2000 gmt this evening. Regards 'T'

certainly not the case here. 64 bit is ALWAYS faster, for obvious reasons. 'T'

HawgTouch - Free Panels & Gauges for A-10C
Heli Shed replied to ClearDark's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Lighten up man, it clearly isn't helios, nor is it trying to replicate it. but competition? you bethcha! I was right behind the Helios program from the beginning, before you airdog. Flim is on our testing team, but as a product it 'is' overpriced IMHO. Never stiffle initiative and always be amazed at the determination and drive from the community, for the community.............without commercial objectives. Helios is an awesome piece of software, no denying it. FWIW, IMHO, this is better. 'T' EDIT: Over a network there is also absolutely no lag nor drop in networked machines fps of dials. - Helios??? -

Want "no graphics" for your DCS:WH MP server?
Heli Shed replied to Panzertard's topic in Multiplayer
VM Ware will not work for hosting a server mike. You'll need two seperate licenses for hosting and clientside, for two seperate machines connected to master server at the same time. The account and even password, however, can be the same. 'T' -
pop along and have a scan! ;-) Regards 'T'

Want "no graphics" for your DCS:WH MP server?
Heli Shed replied to Panzertard's topic in Multiplayer
It's being looked at, but is on their 'list' of things for the future, as released by Twitter some 4 weeks ago. 'T' -
This can be done but by the channel owner himself. Yes there are ways 'out there' of leeching, stealing or grabbing the video, but to be honest the quality will suck and the file format usually in .flv. Wags can use Youtube's own online compression method to make available .MP4 versions of the videos. I do this for members of the 74th. Why not PM Wags and ask, or better still, go pay his site a visit, subscribe and post a message. Just don't expect it all to be done yesterday, he's a busy bee! Regards 'T'

Incorrect. The Military BEM was phased out from awards in the UK. The Order of the British Empire has two seperate divisions. - Civil and Military. The British Empire Medal is still awarded however, but to civilians & indiginous military from British Colonies - Gibralter for example. I am a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the Military Division. My Medal was awarded in 2009 from the Queens Birthday Honours list for work of an operational nature in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'd also like to paste a comment i have on our own forums over on the 74th's website, with regards to Medals in General for the Sim or as a vfs. General Community Notice: All of the medals and awards for the 74th are based upon Real Life awards from around the world. It is respectfully requested of viewers of this post to note that no 'disrespect', 'Malice' or 'belittling' is meant to any country or countryman of the awards offered by the 74th as part of a 'virtual enviorment'. On the contrary, They are all 'fine' medals that have been chosen for the 74th vfs 'The Flying Tigers' by me, who is a serving soldier in the British Army holding the rank of WO1 (RSM). I hold Seven UK Operational Awards, one USA award, one NATO award and a Royal Award (MBE), and hope that you accept this as evidence that I hold 'every' country's awards to it's Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Civilians with complete respect. Medals and awards in a virtual sense are a way of recognising achievements in the sim, not neccessarily related to their real life meaning, providing it is clear in the vfs or sim what the medal was awarded for. Hi mate. Our server is not a home connection by any stretch and is currently running Servman 3 as part of testing, hence the unpause not being an issue now. Without servman or other such script system, you will have to connect to your dedi (or co-lo in our case) via VNC and unpause. Before the testing of Servman 3 we would take it in turns to manage the server, seeing as there is always one of us about at all times. With servman running pretty much 24/7 (allowing for maintenance time of 2 hrs a day), it has run flawlessly in 2 weeks, except the user mission rotation and voting system. Regards 'T'

Repeating trigger action after set time
Heli Shed replied to Galwran's topic in User Created Missions General
I use the switched condition a lot in all my missions, particulary emergency procedures at the homeplate, identification of friendly forces on the ground via smoke and also action for a sanitised area. I dont use the part of group in zone condition nor the part of coalition in zone condition, because my maps and missions are multiplayer. essentially this means i have to set each condition for EVERY player!!!! lets call it a labour of love! We must hook up grimes. let me host you on our server and intro you to some of the missions i have written. I value your input or criticism. I aould also like to seek council with regards to the sety failures action. Currently it seems this is not working? Regards 'T'
