  1. Switched Condition! please.......................................................read other entries and use search. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=47877&highlight=mission+editor+tips http://forums.eagle.ru/search.php?searchid=3349359 also rtm. Switched Condition is explained well in there. Failing all of this, go to the 74th vfs 'The Flying Tigers' server, log in and note the use of the switched condition for damaged aircraft when approaching home plate to land. 'T'
  2. It's a good method and one i fully endorse and promote in my video series. Good luck. 'T'
  3. In the wider gaming community i mean. By virtue of the complex nature of the DCS: series, the fact is that you'd be hard pressed to be effective and 'wise' to the why's and for's, should you not seek help from the community in the basics. Not on the same par with COD now is it? 'T'
  4. if there's one thing i hate, it's an OP that dissapears or makes no announcement of resolution! Well done to everyone who has offered 1-1 support to a new member of the community. A stark reminder at how unique we all are.
  5. I have used this method before via livestream. However, to get the best effect, result and resolution, requires registration and subscription which pretty much says good bye to 400 quid a month!
  6. Look no further. 'T'
  7. I didn't say that did i? I said 'for the minute' it is not available, leading into the fact that it will be, just not yet. if you knew the answer, why ask the question? EDIT: Don't answer, not neccessary. Be patient.
  8. for the minute it is not available.
  9. Sickdog, people like you amaze me. Your dedication for the good and benefit of the community is admirable. Almost everyone has an Iphone or android os phone, and the additional dynamic and depth this app will bring will be awesome. Irrelevant of how long it takes, i just wanna say a simple 'thanks'. Regards 'T'
  10. :megalol:  Fairplay! +1

  12. Search is a wonderfull feature. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1124902&postcount=10 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=70370&page=2 'T'
  13. "This is not the model you are looking for....." "this is not the model we're looking for..." "move along please.." "now, move along please..." ;-) 'T'
  14. Jesus buddy, you are sooooo...bleedin' quick! Regards 'T'
  15. Keyboard 'A' key to enagage and disengage. With regards to EAC Arm / EAC off. There is no key assigned. if you don't have a TM Warthog, my advice is to map keyboard keys '5' for Arm and '6' for off. If you select it with the mouse, it will not stay in the arm position, but toggle back. Regards 'T'
  16. Pop along anytime for help or advice. We have been going for a few months now and I started my vfs from the ground up. It aint easy, but stick with it and it will flourish. Regards 'T'
  17. Sadley I'm in agreement. Don't get me wrong, I not only fully support Diveplane and his Mods, but have no doubt that they are of the very best available and of extremely high standard. The Diveplane mod for FC2.0 was like: 'OMFG!' - instantly recognisable. But, with DCS: A-10C not the case. Undoubtedly there are more changes that he has made than we are probably giving credit for, i know he works tirelessly, and it may well be simply the noise of the opening chute, that to you and i only lasts for 1.5 seconds, but for him was probably a few days work. So, In summary, By virtue of the fact that it has Diveplanes name all over it as one of his mods, gives it instant credence (IMHO), but I feel that this particular package is not 'obviously' that much of a change from stock; which ironically, isn't that bad at all! Infact............it's pretty darn good. Result, uninstalled. Regards 'T'
  18. Sorry to have missed you Sobek, but I have it on good authority that you were well 'hosted' so to speak. Feel free to pop on the server anytime, and of course that goes to any member of the community. At present we have two missions in 'rotation' - Op Switchblade and Op Maximise v2. Three other missions are being designed as i write this. All 5 Missions are based around a common enemy where you 'work' out of a common Airfield (FMB) under, dare i say it, a 'common' or better said, 'persistent' scenario that evolves with each mission. In essence, a MP Campaign. The Campaign Scenario can be found on the 74th's Website. Each Mission is designed to be realistic in threat, and is always achieveable or even 'failable' (if there is such a word!), and from start to completion (either way) can take as little as 2 hrs or as long as is required. Each mission has a concise and realistic mission briefing that is duplicated in 'colour' on the 74th's website that all registered visitors have access to. Some of these missions have 'intelli-phot' for greater clarity of understanding of the mission. As Bengo as eluded to. Our server is closed, but is open to 'anyone' who likes to immerse themselves alongside the AFM of this fantastic sim. All they have to do is come onto TS and be issued the server password as part of the MOTD. IMHO and therefore that of the ethos of the 74th, is that it is impossible - simply IMPOSSIBLE to enjoy the sim, the missions and the whole concept of Online MP Co-op expereince unless you use voice. I'm a quick typer, but even i cant aquire a target via TGP, setp my Wpn systems and Fly, AND type at the same time, neither do I or anymember of the 74th have ANY time for others who think you can, or who endorse this as a method of interaction with the community on a server. For those pilots who want to do daft things like fly upside down spewing chaff and flares over the runway or who don't use the correct brevity or even request RL clearance to taxi or takeoff, guess what? In RL they would be grounded and we are no different. We kick them instantly. So, OP, come on in and enjoy yourself. Bring a Microphone, TS3, the latest client; patched, a GSOH with a tinge of seriousness and you will be made most welcome. All others, please frequest open servers where this.............is the norm! regards 'T'
  19. Well i`ll be honest and say that i am using it but actually have seen little if any, major differences to the original. FWIW, stay with stock i think? 'T'
  20. Well by now Mr Roper, you know that you are always welcome with us. ;-)
  21. Er..........................you got something wrong with your client then...levitate for about a minute? This is DCS A-10C, not a David Copperfield show in Vegas. Seriously though, 3 minutes is all it takes and yes sometimes, there may be problems when you restartup, usually CADC failure, but not always. Levitate though? thats a new one on me. 'T'
  22. The airfield has to belong to your coalition for it to rearm, repair or refuel via ground services. As strongharm says, if you are unsure, use the F11 feature to ensure that the airfiled does actually belong to your coalition. Bottom Left hand side denotes this via colour block. Grey is neutral and will not Rearm, Repair or refuel anyone. 'T'
  23. ? Run the mission yourself and the track that you save will be of the whole mission. Only way to edit per sai, is by using FRAPS at the point you want, rather than from the very beginning.
  24. Yep, this is correct. Just press escape during playback and take control
