CockpitSystems.ogg isn't loading.Wind and distortion sounds are there..Now there is Sound/Sounders folder with lots of configuration files.These could cause trouble? In DCS 1.2.6 everything is ok.So i don't think it's soundcard or driver issue..

I can confirm that.I hear two things in cockpit, battery and/or inverter sound and external sounds.(world and engines)

Well i have a 2 gb vram card.I just said "oh god i'm just at the limit".I expected better actually.Improved performance sentence brought me here..Improved performance over the existing hardware? Improved performance on the new hardware? Like BIGNEWY said i will wait for it..and see.I agree with 2 gb vram is not the end of world but going over, it is..

Well 2 gb vram as minimum requirement is little harsh.Minimum requirement is for mainstream player that cant afford pro gaming machine.. Imagine that you put as minimum joystick requirement the Warthog.. Should have been 1 gb..Then you can push recommended settings as much as you want i..I am waiting this for years now just for performance sake..and now this.. :(

They have a greater chance to release in time since they dropped NTTR map for next release.But it's coding stuff (and really big one)so you never know..

I wasn't mentioning DCS 2.0. I was talking about whatever it will be the next small update ie.1.2.17..Every small update gives me different performance. I should've mention it as small update. I'm expecting but not expecting that much from EDGE.Especially in alpha state..

Hello everyone, FPS drop occurs time to time after updates. I have no idea what are they changing but it happens.I get really low fps in one update, good one in another. My suggestion is do not bother with overclocking or buying new hardware, be patient and wait for the next release. Cheers

It would be really great to have them as mods/tech/cargos, mods/tech/tents, mods/tech ships etc.. When there are modified files all over the place, it's hard to control the healthiness of your installation so to speak. I think zaelu wanted to mention this.. Regards.

Nope.If you don't order it to disable it in game or turn it off in Windows control panel continues to exist in the background.

Performance killer eye candy built in Windows itself:D Make sure DCS World options menu -> Disable aero interface = ticked!

Hi All, Like i said there is a way to do it. Open the objectname.lua file: Add these lines to it:-For United States in that case- GT.Countries = { "USA",}; Some countries won't accept their own abreviations (e.g. for Norway you have to write "Norway" it won't accept "NOR") so trial and error i'd say.. You must enter the code above before add_surface_unit(GT) entry.. Hope that helps.
