  1. First day buy! .This is the campaign will turn NTTR to what is always supposed to be. A training map !!! ..Can't wait.
  2. I've just realized that update to 2.5 did not remove my 2.2 alpha installation. 65gb dead game lying in my harddrive? Is it ok to remove it manually? Well i'm asking this because Windows thinks it's too big for recycling so it will delete immediately.2.5 is fine btw i can choose between the maps in ME.
  3. If you don't know what it is, than you don't have to worry. But it's a cfg file where you can limit fps, change affinity mask, so on.Someone with more technical knowledge can explain better.
  4. Check my post please. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3373381&postcount=1 Also Fakum check if you are using autoexec.cfg.Remove it than try.
  5. It's just "information" for those using it, is not a bug. I had 2 lines in autoexec.cfg. One was affinity mask (intel i5 7th gen) routed 2 cores to DCS and other one Max_FPS which i set to 60. The problem: I was getting 32 fps.I hear you say "You have a bottleneck somewhere".I just first thought like that also. But NO!. My suspicion started when i realized that it's actually constant. I remember times i've got low fps but i never saw constant numbers..So i disabled the VR headset option.I thought it must be relevant (32+32=64 not mathematically correct but hey it's Windows.)Then lowered every setting to Low.No joy.Still 32 once got 34. Than i removed the only file which is not genuine DCS (I don't use mods except few sound ones) Et voila.60 fps constant with High settings.(Great job BTW) I didn't have time and eyes to investigate whether it's the fps limiter or Affinity Mask but definitely 2.5 and autoexec.cfg don't go along. If anybody would like to test and report here you are always welcome. I just wanted to give a heads-up for those who can encounter the same problem as i did.
  6. Looks beautiful.Really!Good Job! And thanks for keeping it free.
  7. Thank you gospadin.I appreciate it.
  8. How funny is that i remember to ask this two weeks prior to release? Anybody have any info on tower comms and comms in general? I remember sometime that someone said it's been worked on.Wags' voice is still intact so i take it he wasn't engaged as voice actor? :D
  9. Nice guy.:angel:To the next 4000 then..
  10. You can always add 2 ship flight consisting of F-16s,F-18s.They can do their thing than you can do yours.
  11. Oh yes.. I can't believe i'm still learning it.. as an old guy :megalol:
  12. Well, i left at the first page.. I'm happy that you enjoyed after that.:megalol: Cibit and whoever reads it: Here is my report.First thing's first: Before i buy anything i decided to check what's in my rig.So it turned out that i have an M2 Sata already.(128 gb)with OS on it.And one good old 1TB hdd.As i didn't want to mess with the OS i decided that hdd has to go.The good thing was i had an 2.5" one.So an SSD would be plug and play. After few readings/ comparisons between Samsung 850 and Crucial, i've got 850 EVO 500GB. Back up->Copy->Paste. All was done in few hours.(230 gb copied). First thing i did was to click on DCS 2.2 which stuttered lately, i had a good performance but still stuttered.Long story short: Buy it guys.Loading times improved.I've got no stutter no tearing whatsoever. And best of all i could get the effects back which i turned down in order to minimize stuttering(shadows, flare, ground textures).I realised that actually i have a decent rig with one bottleneck -at least for me- :HDD.As a note i'm not using deferred shading because of AA and AF problems. The game now looks good and playable.(34" 1080p ultra wide monitor). I hope these help or give an idea for the interested.Weird thing is some people complaining about stutters although they have SSDs.That solved my problems.
  13. Sorry guys i can't know that.I don't have WWII and CA.Thanks for the heads up.I'll edit the post above as "remove the mods from the main directory and transfer them to users directory" I'm using VPC mod. It's quite good. Not interested other than that.
  14. Guys , Whoever can't get to work static object mods, remove the mods from tech folder in main directory (e.g X://Program Files/Eagle Dynamics... ) and create a folder in your users directory as described and paste them in it.I don't know if it's relevant but it worked for me (1.5.8 and 2.2)
  15. I guess it's the best performance since 2.x has been introduced.Great job ED.
  16. I've started to wonder how can you disable 3d rendering in D3D game .. This option didn't make any sense. Now i got it.
  17. That's bad news.:( And you have quite a powerful system.. I think I will wait then until 2.5 comes out. ( it will inevitably be early release probably problematic performance but hey.. :) )Thanks for the report RedShoes.
  18. Drivers are not a problem.I share your feelings about stutters and i can't believe thinking of uprading just because of this recently added trouble.Getting old i guess.:smartass:I'll get it next week and after the migration i'll keep you posted Cibit. Thanks guys.
  19. Well i have Asus GR8 II playstation look-a-like rig.i5 7th gen (7400 i guess) no idea what the motherboard is but i have one 128 ssd (OS) one 7200rpm 1 tb hard drive.I have one slot ready on the board for M.2 SSD.That's for sure.I don't want to migrate whole ssd to a bigger one i will just use for DCS.That's the only game which stutters.I'm hoping it will be a cure for it.I will just get one 120-240gb. this disabling 2xsata thing is mambo jambo for me, really sorry about that. Shortest question is: will it be plug&play? Short Video which showing the M.2 SSD upgrade: Oh man thanks for detailed explanation. But i'm gonna need to attend a technical school in order to connect everything you said to my situation. Thanks a lot.Honestly.
  20. 4 pcie lanes? Can you elaborate? You mean, i’m gonna need more cpu power?
  21. Hi Actually the title is the question itself.Instead of messing with the OS which is on SSD, i'm planning to get 120-256 gigs M.2 SSD drive just for DCS.As my rig has a slot ready for it , would be real easy.I just have to migrate DCS.But I'm a noob when it comes to Windows ( using Mac normally). I read lot of threads what i've learned is always useful to have OS and DCS separately.(or the other way around?) M.2 SSDs look quite fast and budget friendly. What do you suggest?
  22. I have 7400.It's better i guess*.Still got some stuttering especially lookin' right/left but definitely became less for straight flying. *At the time the update came out i was struggling with the gfx settings( lowering preload radius, shadows limiting max fps to 60 etc.) That's why my report can't be too healthy.
  23. Yes it's a bug i can confirm..Starting ramp (cold) does not happen.
