Yeah I did but the Viper still lost something. I’m gonna miss bumping the stick and feeling that snap. It just feels like a loose glove now and I know I just have to get use to it.

People got to be paid , be on payroll to improve everything about this sim, nobody works for free either it be E D or there partners. At least we don’t have to pay for updates.

I have the R3L and Viper grip and when doing 1/4 rolls the viper use to snap in place. Please bring it back.

I have a few single practice missions for BFM and after the latest update the jets seems like they lost their aggressiveness especially the J-17. I have them all of Ace and Veterans. Not sure if this is a bug or not but even the Mig29’s doesn’t want to fight.

It just gonna get better and better in time. I don’t think DCS / E D is going anywhere and I’m not either… just enjoy what we got at the time. Love the map especially around Argentina area.

I'm running my G2 on SteamVR Beta and WMR4S, havent had the need to go OXR at this time. Have you tried switching versions in WMR to version LMK ? I was having issues in April with blacking out and over used VRam and someone1 told me to which versions in WMR to LMK and that fixed my issues and I'm still on that version. Heres my post for help.

Awesome VR performance in this map and it’s huge and very beautiful in certain areas. Looking forward in trying it on a full blown mission with a lot of static objects ect. But just alone it runs great and very smooth. Great job Razbam !

The new map runs very smooth on my end. I don’t chase fps but I’m a solid 45 and smooth as glass. running Steamvr and WMR version lmk

I was surprised how smooth it was in VR I guess it’s because there’s not that much static objects and clutter.

Yeah they are great in responding but the only downfall is that they only use PayPal for parts and I cancelled my account years ago because of fraudulent activity. I was trying to get a trim hat to replace on my viper grip. But true they responded very quick and professional. I decided to keep the Hornet grip but will keep a good eye on that sensor control left position.

Ok so your cpu is maxed @ 4.5ghz. What is your highest mhz your gpu can hold at the cool temperatures. You may try to look into undervolting your 3070ti to get the highest clock speed/mhz with a lower temperature. For example my 3090 was pushing alittle over 1 volt at @ 1935mhz and temps sitting at 72-76c. I was able to feed it 875mv at 1935mhz and the temps underload/dcs came down to 62-68c with lower gpu fan rpms. I noticed that everytime the gpu gets to a certain high temp the frequency drops and thats when the stuttering and loss of fps happens. You may have to turn up your fans, all of them to get the temps right and steady gpu mhz.

I’m wondering what this click sound is at system start up only. I posted on the RS forum and waiting for dragon to reply. Does anybody get this click sound? I have checked all grip screws for tightness and all good there I thinking something internal like some kind of force release mechanism. It functions properly while flying and in operation.

But if I I flick it left it will return. Maybe it just needs alittle breaking in… I maybe able to live with this.

Just got my F-18 grip my third one I sent back the other 2 from Amazon dealers because of switches not returning to center both was weapon select. Now this one the third one the castle switch does not return to center. Dang !!!! This one is from Thrustmaster !!! I might be able to live with it … maybe, what to do what to do.

I’m giving it another go from thrustmaster I hope I get a good one or I’m going Virpil. Should be delivered tommorrow. Getting ready for the F-15E. I think I want to open it up and make sure the shaft screws are tight and secured. My TM viper gripe got loose after 3 years.

Giving the F-18 Hornet grip another go around but ordered through Thustmaster eshop US , I’m not dealing with Amazon dealers anymore as I sent back 2 “ TWO “ F-18 grips back for bad not returning to center switches so hopefully I get a good one this time. My TM viper grip 3 years old has a bad trim position at 7 o’clock DL and I would want to replace it. Where can I get one ? I have emailed thrustmaster about purchasing one but I haven’t heard back from them going on 8 days. Is thrustmaster the only place to get a Trim switch?

Yes ! I was alittle scared to attempt this as I’m not a techy kinda guy but it was pretty easy and well worth it. I hardly see my gpu go over 70c now and love how the frequency stays put and not jumping around.
