  1. Do you wear glasses for distance, driving etc?
  2. I have a 1070 and a crap cpu by today's standards and It runs just fine on my system. I have the settings cranked up quite high too. No stuttering at all. You will be fine with a rig like that.

Yep, I know. Saying "T" - "POD" sounds much better to me though.
  4. Try this thread https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=158400
  5. I also have both. I have had the opposite experience to the original poster in every aspect.
  6. Yep, with the addition of a pod another part of situation awareness is the added ability to know what your TPOD is looking at in relation to where you are and where you are going.

The very fact that sentences like this can be put together in describing a simulation we have brought is testament to the great job ED are doing. I love it.
  8. From your signature pic I see you wear glasses (I do too) are they for distance ie: driving or reading? I have to use my glasses in the headset to get the clarity. I'm sure you know all this but just a point.
  9. I agree. I was just making a point that in real life these bombs in CCIP are not pin point accurate weapons. I get superb results within the simulation. I don't know if it's a bug or not. Great video btw. The choice of music was spot on.
  10. I fly the Tomcat a lot in single player and clearly see the advantages of flying with a buddy. Are there any plans to make it better for singer player with better pilot AI and Jester AI respectively? Not a gripe just a question?
  11. That sorted all my problems with this. Many thanks!!
  12. The target impact point still relies (in real life) on many other variables. Pilots going through weapons training have the same issues as you have. The system is not a "point here it will hit here". They have a competition to see who can get the closest to a target on any given range day. Which tells you that you aint gonna get 100% all the time pin point accuracy (they still struggle with LGB's) although it can be interpreted in that way as you say. The best results come from a steeper angle of dive. So say your doing a drop at 30 degrees try 50 and see the difference in accuracy. Your approach and setup needs just as much practice as the actual delivery too.

Just have to wait and see. I'm quite optimistic.
  14. That's great to hear. How is the performance hit on your system? Have you used different VR headsets in comparison?

Yep. Ground radar. Not only great for the Hornet but some ground breaking stuff for ED and opens up so much more for other modules.

I see what you mean. However, in that case all they are going to do is change the name and let you put it on a different pylon? Is that what your saying? because it sounds like they are working on something a bit more than that. I think one of the main things is going to be about the amount of information it can deliver to the pilot. Just look at anything online using that tech and you will see what I mean.

As far as I know. A substantial increase in target detection/recognition range Pinpoint accuracy and assessment from longer standoff ranges Superior EO/IR imagery Taken from the Raytheon website.
  18. Yep. You need to box the trigger button on the right DDI to use the laser after you have armed it from the right console switch.
  19. Been waiting a long time to use this with the Hornet and it is great fun. Watching targets get destroyed in the FLIR zoomed in is just quality. Can't wait to get the ATFLIR. Many thanks!
  20. Ah, I see. Thanks.
  21. Hey Bart, yep no issues here. Just a quick one. I recently sold my CV1 and got the rift s the dials, numbers everything are now crystal clear. In case you were thinking of upgrading.
  22. Also you can't arm it if you are on the ground.
  23. I don't see any options in the controls to set anything to the first detent? I see the 2nd detent option to shoot.
  24. Just in case anyone else comes across this problem the way I fixed it was to assign the sensor depress button to one switch on the Joystick as apposed to having the 4 way switch doing left right aft up etc and then having another button separate to that to depress. This was on the Warthog. I guess this has something to do with the new F18 stick from thrustmaster and the way it is automatically mapped in DCS?
  25. I'm going through the process of learning the TPOD. Sometimes when I switch between the left DDI to the right the diamond will disappear. The only place I can get the sensor to look is the HUD as indicated by the dot. No matter what I do it won't come back. Anyone else having this issue?
