  2. You can hover dry starting at VREST max hover weight for somewhere under 4 mins before the engine starts to break down in DCS with the current patch (just tested). You can VTO with no wind from an altitude of 550ft at 21200lb total weight with wet thrust, though you'll be down to ~150lb of water and it's a bit dicey. At the nominal 20755lb VTO weight you can do a comfy wet VTO and still have ~350-380lb of water left. You can VTO dry at 19504, but again it's a bit dicey. Much happier under 19000lb.

  4. You could probably edit the file I mentioned above and experiment with numbers >1, e.g. 1.1, 1.01, 1.05, 1.25 and see what you can adjust and how far you can take them. Would be really interesting to see your results. Presumably they do either detect your HMD, or the mask is designed to work for most HMDs based on the display resolution or aspect ratio, but I've seen a lot of people posting talking about different results with the same headset, so I wonder if your individual eyes play a role, and/or the shape/size of your head and how close to the screen your eyes end up. I know some people modify G2s to get the screen to sit closer to their face to get a bigger FOV, but I feel like mine already sits as close as I would ever want it.
  5. An adjustable option as opposed to just a simple toggle might be nice. I tried playing with the lines below in \Bazar\shaders\HMDMask.fx: I experimented with values between 0.90 and 1.00 to 2 decimal places. At 0.96 it was significantly less noticeable. 0.95 was the biggest I could set that would totally eliminate my issues with the VR mask creeping into my field of view. Some streamers might be happy with settings somewhere between 0.90 and 0.95. I did not experiment with adjusting each value independently.
  6. Tested 0.9, 0.95, 0.96, 0.97 and 0.98. 0.95 seems to be the biggest I can set mine that eliminates the problem.
  7. I'm getting the same thing. Got it on the ground too. I can see it all round the view, but it's by far most obtrusive at the bottom.

When flying the AV8BNA in VR, the stick flickers all over the place at any time that the VR hand controllers are rendering, and pitch and roll stick input comes and goes at 1-0.5 second intervals, causing any manoeuvrer to become jolty and slow. If the controllers go undisturbed long enough to stop rendering, the stick stops flickering and pitch and roll axis inputs return to normal. The stick axis I had bound to view slew became unresponsive under the same conditions, and this also happened to the view slew while the hand controllers were active while flying the F-18.   9. Same here. The new in-game VR hands feel much nicer for pushing buttons with, but I can't actually reach a lot of the buttons in the cockpit without bumping my physical controllers into things, and we've lost control of knobs and dials, confidence about when an interaction will translate to a right-click, and we've still got the problem that most buttons will decide they're being pressed multiple times when you push them with the in-game VR hand.
  10. Amazing! Khopa, you're a true hero! Please please please consider adding options for a UK faction version with support for Joey45's amazing HMS Hermes mod! The AI no longer has problems with using the latest build on GitHub.

  12. I'm running XP and have a 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 pro, and I had the same bug. I didn't try playing with settings, but reverting to 8.12 from 9.8 fixed it.
