Sorry, I have one more question. Would you considder uploading the first version anyway (in case it wasn't deleted) as an option? I guess I'm not the only one who uses this map mainly for low flying with helicopters, where this problem would't be noticable.

Thanks man, that's unfortunate. I know how frusrtating it can be trying to mod something and it turns out to be dead end, so thanks for all the hard work. Either way I'm exited to try this version.

Wait so his latest screenshots are supposed to be updated version of these? That would be kind of shame, those first shots like the one above looked really unique and IMHO perfectly realistic

The forest tiling on the original (5th picture) hurts my eyes. Ugra did fine job content wise but they need to have sirious talk with their texture guy, or calibrate his screen.

Not only this looks a milion times better than the original, but you also managed to fix the forests and their way to obvious tiling visible from higher altitudes. It's incredible! Do you have ETA?

This is only .lua edit to make the Normandy 2.0 map a bit more darker, no new or edited textures. I thought I'd upload it, since none of the big names made this yet. DOWNLOAD HERE I used the same aproach as Taz1004 in his Better Trees for Syria mod, so credit goes to him.

Can you share any info on DLSS? Is it tied to vulkan or we'll get it before? ET in Q3, Q4 or next year perhaps?

Try to add luminosity, it's very low in this mod for F18 go here: materials.lua in F-18_HUD\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Scripts *There are usually 4 numbers, the first three are RGB values and the last one is luminosity (keep in mind the luminosity is also influenced by the thickness) Symbology can be edited on the line 23 -> MDG_materials[MDG_SELF_IDS.HUD] or F16 here: materials.lua in F-16_HUD\Mods\aircraft\F-16C\Cockpit\Scripts *There are usually 4 numbers, the first three are RGB values and the last one is luminosity (keep in mind the luminosity is also influenced by the thickness) Symbology can be edited on the line 24 -> materials["HUD"] Edit the last (fourth) number to something higher, by default it was around 300 I think (around 50 in these mods), if it doesn't help, the only thing left is more thickness.

It contains 2 files, one for unmodded BS3 (BS3 Improved HUD) and one for english version (BS3 Improved HUD_English) - compatible with Devrim's DCS: Black Shark 3 English HUD, Shkval & PUI800 Mod Instalation: JSGME ready, choose the version you prefer and place in your _MODS folder. In case of the english version, install Improved HUD AFTER the English HUD.

I'm enjoying the upgrade so far. MWS brings a whole new gameplay aspect to it, and the 3D model is simply fantastic. I wish the Iglas wouldn't be so useless though. 10 dolars is fair price and I definitely recommend BS3

Awsome, Nice job! I found some minor bugs though, first when you push the hardpoint selector switch to engage with Iglas, the timer shows seconds as "C" (In the HUD missile page lua) - "CONNECT MSL PWR", "READY %02dC", "%02dC" --> "READY %02dS", "%02dS" should fix that And in the INU status (HUD NAV COMMON page lua) - "INU\FW", "INU\NW", "CALIB 180", "CALIB 0" - should be - INU\nFW", "INU\nNW", "CALIB 180", "CALIB 0" - to corectly show on the HUD as INU/FW instad of INUFW/ -

I forgot about the manual, so they're all abbreviations, right? Because translator didn't pick it up. Would CNCT MSL PWR make sense? Thanks, this helps a lot BTW

I'm working on the English HUD and Skhval mod, since the old one by Devrim doesn't work for me anymore, but there are some things that can't be dirrectly translated using google translator. It would be great to have some more info about the new igla HUD. I have already reworked most of the stuff that was present in Devrim's mod, but had to take some guesses here and there. In this video, Wolfpack345 talks about nitrogen coolant bottlest being punctured, The two worded message above "IGLA 4" on the hud is likely that info but I'm not 100% sure, so if anyone knows more, please let me know.
