  2. I'd say it's far better now. Finally has smartphone functionality and actually doesn't look like it was designed 20 years ago.

The closest thing to workaround I found was this autohotkeys script https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/38656-using-the-left-mouse-button-to-invert-cursor/?p=242190 You can invert axes with LMB but it sort of jumps in big increments when in F2 view. I tried to edit some numbers in the script but it's still doing that. If someone can make it work, let us know please.
  5. Can you explain step by step how did you make external mouse look inverted after last update? I don't understand.

  8. The whole external camera view can't be iverted after last patch, zoom + x/y axes.

  10. I've recently bought a new PC and was a bit disapointed with the channel performance. Can't get stable 60fps / 1080p in urban areas with RTX 3080 + i5 10600K + 32GB RAM + M.2 SSD. (note it's in Ka-50 which is more fps heavier than WWII birds). Flat shadows help to keep it at least between 50-60. I'm considdering buying Syria map, but I hear some complaints on optimisation. So how bad is it? Do you get better or worse FPS with the same settings, compared to the Channel?
  11. I've got a new system: i5-10600K + RTX 3080 + 32GB RAM installed on M.2 SSD. below 40 FPS with 4xMSAA and default shadows, ON 1080p RESOLUTION! Flat shadows make it playable but look ugly. This is bad even for Early Acces. I hope this is gonna get sorted ASAP. I don't understand why was it neccesary to have so many tiny details you wont notice even in helo. Is it so complicated to include options for scaled down LOD? I'm gonna do more tests and see how it goes.

I thought speed smoke was this: Edit: Never mind, there's an answer in the unofficial roadmap thread: The all-new explosions, fire and smoke effects are also nearly finished and now being fine-tuned. Will be released "soon". Fingers crossed it makes it in OB this year.
  13. "Effects. The Speed smoke and fire was improved." I was under impression we are getting the new effects. I haven't noticed any improvements. Also inverted mouse camera for external view doesn't work now.

  15. There's something funky about TGP and HUD fur sure. If you wanna attack targets that are not around your steerpoint, you can use SP and slew TGP but there's no time to release / release queue on the HUD so CCRP is basicaly not working. But if you press SP while having your current steerpoint directly in front of you and visible on the HUD, the SP actualy conects to the HUD. Slewing TGP will again recalculate time to release depending on where you point it.

  19. I appreciate your response. I guess you're saying that those effects are not coming untill the new DM for WWII, but why is it so hard to get clear answers here? Even if it would be just estimate. Can you share your own opinion on when it might be here?
  20. When can we expect the new effects shown in newsletter from 2 months ago? Next update? Or is this going to be one of those things that are "really close" for couple of months?
  21. Good job on the new fire, It's perfect! Will there be new smoke effect added in the upcoming update?
  22. Was there minor effects update? It seems like fire luminosity was increased (where was just orange texture before now we have glowing fire effect like from trailers), but the old smoke/fire animation is still present. Perhaps first part of the update?
  23. But the one in screenshot is USAF, I thought they'll update all liveries with that sick looking weathering. Next time I guess.
  24. Am I blind, or is this skin not in the game yet? I can't find it. (left one is taken after today's patch, the right one is from newsletter)
