The only thing I could recommend if you are going to double digit client connections is renting a gaming server. But then you will face the problem of LOMAC's lack of a dedicated server app and the need for a graphics card in the server. Shop around and see if someone can accomodate your needs. I don't know of a hosting service I can honestly recommend. It's going to cost $$$ anyway you do it.

It could be done using "music". Record a sound file long enough to include all the timed messages so that they play at the correct time when the the "music" file is started at the beginning of the mission. (And long enough so that it doesn't repeat before the mission is over) Not a very practical solution though.

He might if he's running certain mods. Illegal loadouts might be a problem.

There are plenty of Vpilots that could handle themselves quite well that don't fly HL anymore. And more that don't fly very often. There may be many varied reasons for that, but in my case, it's because there are way too many problems with the modeling. Way too many, "How in the hell did that shot miss?!"

You seriously believe that? 10 miles? And you think ECM is modeled excessively? The majority of times, jammers drop their jam and identify themselves at some point, in my experience. The mismodeling of no IFF for jamming returns in the eagle is definitely something that should be addressed, however.

But it doesn't appear to be underpowered in the horizontal. Top speed and acceleration appear to be much closer (though not perfect) to realistic than any climbing maneuver. And this is not limited to the F-15. The thrust to weight of the MiG ought to let it take off and accelerate vertically even better than the 15. It can't. I still think the problem seems to be in how the LOMAC world (atmosphere/gravity) is modeled. Either that of the thrust modeling has seperate horizontal and vertical components that are not compatible.

Did you change your timeout settings with the new install?

Have you tried to connect to a server directly? No HL?
