Although you've tried it, it should be "music". Instead of the slider, try unclicking the button for Music below the audio sliders.

I agree. But it would suck to see that dam sitting there mocking us with its indestructibility. I would rather see it destructible with no resulting flood than just be eyecandy.

I might agree with this if the LOMAC US AWACS didn't suck so bad. At times, it's more of a hinderance than a help. As a plea to ED, WAFM is a good thing, but it will all result in nothing unless seeker modeling is corrected. Nobody will care how accurate the flightpath of their missiles will be if they consistently miss 6nm slammer shots.

Not apropos at all, really. A business/customer relationship doesn't mirror a parent/child relationship. There has been no evidence to support ED releasing anything until they considered it ready to release, with the exception of the 1.0 release in which they were contractually obligated to UBI. ED consistently announces projected release dates and they consistently underestimate the time a project will take. Frustrations are inevitable. 1.) We didn't ask for BS but eventually we are going to get it. 2.) ED will release when they are ready and the forums won't change that. 3.) Expressing frustrations at delays doesn't cost anyone anything, but the software will cost each of us. 4.) BS won't be released as a result of the forum members throwing tantrums. 5.) People usually don't pay for things to which they feel entitled.

I can't say what others are thinking but I think LOMAC missile modeling is porked across the board. Including Russian missiles. I hesitate to say because I have not heard any Russian pilots speak of the powers of the 27/33 and 29's avionics, but the porkedness goes beyond missiles. The most distressing part of it is that in LOMAC 1.02, although there were definitely omissions/inaccuracies that needed to be addressed, it seemed to give overall better results in depicting air combat as many of us think it should be. When some of those omissions/inaccuracies were addressed they actually hurt the sim by being overdone or simply traded one inaccuracy for another. One must give ED credit for addressing these things in the first place but a failing grade on actually making the sim more realistic.

D-Scythe, one question out of curiosity. Do you have your missile effectiveness slider at 50%?

Halabit, get the card that you can get the best deal on. All 3 of those cards should be fine for LOMAC. CPU is much more important than vid card.

Try a Cobra at 1200KPH and you will wake up dead. Pulling past the AoA limiter at that speed would create a LOT of Gs.

For layers in PS you want a .psd file. .bmp files don't have the layers you want. Ice should be able to tell you all you need to know about it. I'm not sure there's a public F-16 template available.
