  1. Let me just grab my popcorn and watch the world explode :)
  2. Wow, thank you for taking the time to answer in such detail. From your pictures I can see that the system is working basically correctly. If you are to the right of the beacon the vertical marker points to the right and vice versa. Also range seems to be correctly displayed. I think the WW2 frequency was 33 MHz for civil use and 30-31.5 MHz for military. I was going to use the AFN-2 for a mission with Y-Führung, where the JLO directs the aircraft to intercept an enemy aircraft. When flying the correct bearing the light in the AFN-2 would shine brightly and dim when going off course. Do you know if there is a way to model that with LUA code?
  3. I think wait for some official word on how to mod this is best at the moment. But I dont want to stop if you have time on your hands and want to make this work. I just wanted to warn you :)
  4. This sounds like a very dirty workaround that would probably require alot of work everytime anything changes regarding radio coms.
  5. Doy ou know if the homing function for the AFN-2 is implemented and if so how to use it?
  6. I understand now and I observed the same and thought it was really strange. It doesn't feel very realistic to me - it is as if the last tapped brake was applied still after letting it go.
  7. This :) Also make sure you lock the tailwheel while it is facing straight and don't speed on the taxiway - even if the motor sounds very nice ;)
  8. Hi all, I can run the game fine but on the one MP-Server I really want to play on, I crash every time with the following error message: 2020-03-29 12:46:44.997 ERROR EDTERRAINCORE: utm_private::fromLatLon Longitude nand more than 60d from center of UTM zone 30 2020-03-29 12:46:48.133 WARNING LOG: 51 duplicate message(s) skipped. Does anyone know the error and how it's fixed? The server is quite populated and I seem to be the only one with that error. Can it be tied to connection?
  9. If it's not too much to ask, maybe make another option to reduce the number of bombers even further? To like 10 or max 20. For me the campaign is unplayable in VR with an up to date system and DCS optmized (albeit to a high quality).
  10. Here's a little fun mission for all those, looking for more things to do with their FW-190 A8. It's a semi historical fun mission, featuring the new search lights and your Anton being equipped with rockets to combat the big boys. Hf :) https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3308539/
  11. There is a F10 option in your radio menu at the start of the mission that let's you reduce the number of units, to ease the burden on your system.
  12. This is the channel btw (to save interested people a click or two): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCynGrIaI5vsJQgHJAIp9oSg
  13. Pretty much all of the videos on that channel are worth watching if you are into WW2 Avionics ;)
  14. Albeit an intriguing idea, I think this belongs deeeeeep down the backlog :)
  15. Can we get an info on this? It should be an easy fix.
  16. Any updates on this NineLine?
  17. That picture is from Wikipedia :) But I made a mission for the A8 where you can probably take a similar picture: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3308539/ Enjoy :)
  18. Maybe injection with the JaBo versions, but what we really want is increased manifold pressure. It basically comes down to increased manifold pressure or riot! :)
  19. Here's a teaser picture: :pilotfly:
  20. Oops. You'r right. Sometimes it's good to read before quoting :music_whistling: The point is still: C3 for low altitude bombers and increased manifold pressure for the dogfighters.
  21. Look here for my explanation: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4227074#post4227074 In short: C3 is for take off and increased manifold pressure for increased dogfight performance.
  22. Any updates on this?
  23. Thanks! :) I installed the Marston Mat mod, got the mission running and boom all search lights worked. Changed time to 03:30 and added some clouds and that broke the search lights. Probably because the units cant spot the bombers. Confirmed bug imo, cuz historically they were guided by radar and should at least be searching the sky even if they cant see anything. Thanks for your kind help, Suntsag!
  24. Switched to imperial units to try it with exactly 2000ft but no success either. Does it work for you? Could you attach a sample mission file or something?
