  1. 609m above sea and above ground both tested without success. Lights activate, bombers fly over them, lights stay passive.
  2. Yep I was following SUNTSAG's guide. They do activate but they dont move at all even when the bombers fly directly above them at 400m altitude.
  3. Do you even get them to work in 2.5.6? I activate them and have an enemy bomber formation fly about 400m directly above them and the search lights dont move at all.
  4. Nope, the whole device could be removed mid flight by a small controlled detonation. Device "4 Absprengstrebe" in attached picture.
  5. Yes, really nice job btd! Thank you, we all love the new sound! :)
  6. While looking for information about the different types of ordinance I found the manual incorrect or outdated in some places. Do you need info on that or is an updated version of the manual planned anway?
  7. I think I read in the patch notes, that they would update the manual with information about the different types of ordinance, but I think they forgot. I am still looking for info about the differences of SC-500 J & SC-500 L2 for example. All I could find was hints that this might just be different quality classes?
  8. They just did ;)
  9. This is a bug and should not be on the wishlist imo. Just compare with the VR integration of the 109's propeller where it is flawless. Copy/paste any1? ;)
  10. When issuing a radio command or trying to send a radio message to an ATC this will fail randomly about 50% of the time. This can lead to being forced to issue the same command 3-4 times in a row. Afaik this is an issue on all German warbirds.
  11. To give you some numbers: Total number of Fw-190 produced from 12/44 - 05/45 2.394 846 planes out of these about were A8 with Notleistung (NL) 904 planes were of the D9 model The rest were specialized variants.
  12. The model we have in the game right now is accurate for D-Day but it was officially recognized as being under-motorized in comparison to contemporary Allied planes. To combat the problem all A8 produced from 07/44 until the end of the war had a feature called "Erhöhte Notleistung" (War Emergency Power) that allowed improved performance for up to 10 minutes per use.
  13. I'm sitting on the edge of my chair waiting for that newsletter :book:
  14. It is also out of early access. So if I am not mistaken that means it will stay under-motorized and F8 is off the table as well. That put things into perspective quite rapidly :-/
  15. Omg, I just read about it. Sounds great! Finally ;)
  16. I love that thinly veiled dis of the Spitfire. Well done, Kamerad ;-)
  17. Yes. I think ED hates money. :pilotfly:
  18. Playing since '87 and only 37 posts. After reading this I think you should post more often.
  19. Yes it quite underpowered. Try to make a somewhat fast lvl turn at somewhat high altitude...
  20. I would argue that actually flying the aircraft is invaluable when re-creating the look and feel of actually sitting in the cockpit.
  21. Yes, can we get an update on this, please? Is this being worked on or are there problems?
  22. Nice! Thank you for the info. I will test them as well ;)
  23. "The Spitfire LF Mk.IX and the Fw 190 A-8 make excellent counterparts for DCS World." :megalol:
