  7. No, the Me262 was first. But you are right concerning the missing potential, since Gloster Meteor was used to fight unmanned V-1 rockets? ;) Afaik, engine service isnt modeled (thank god) and I can just hop in a brand new bird everytime I boot up the simulator. :lol:

  10. Yes, Nick stated in an interview they rely on community to make the skins. And I think thats working quite nicely.

  12. The devs just add late war period planes. And the Me262 fits perfectly and will be a really interesting module. The first real jet fighter. How could ED not introduce it to DCS? Are you even serious? ;)

  14. Indeed the first impression is very good. In VR & F14 I had some major performance problems, but lets hope these are resolved soon. Otherwise looks A+
  15. Hi! I really liked the first missions of this campaign and would love to play with SC. Are there any plans to update it?
  16. Yes, I noticed pronounced performance problems with VR/F14/SC as well. @HB could you list the missions that use the SC? Patch notes say you made a bunch of SC missions but they are indistinguishable in the missions menu. Also, do you have any plans to make a Cage the Bear version with SC? I am looking for things to do with SC and F14 and dont dare to hop on multiplayer after I saw the performance ;)
  17. I finally managed to finish mission 1! That landing on the bridge really took me a few tries. Fun and well done mission - just the punishment for flying bad formation / altitude could be looked at imo. IRL you would maybe get a speech from your commander after the mission or have to do some punishment work. I think that would work better and also not cause so much confusion with players of this campaign.

  19. Mhmkay, so in military if I make a mistake because I misinterpreted an order I am killed instantly? ;)
  20. The problem was not being unable to keep the formation or hold altitude. I deliberately (freiwillig/absichtlich) left the formation to cover Wolf 1 and just exploded without a warning. And I think that is just frustrating.
  21. Okay, I found out you just explode out of thin air if you dont hold the formation properly. This happens in OB and in stable. I hope this is a bug that will be fixed. Im not investing 1 hour of my time and then just die while I leave formation to cover Wolf 1 who is inspecting the first bridge. I really hope this is not by design.
  22. I tried to play the first mission today in OB. The mission looks very well done and everything was working fine until I just exploded in mid air when approaching the first bridge (not sure what happened - there were no enemies, so I think it was due to a bug). Here are some other things I noticed and list here because it might help you when hunting for bugs: - in the beginning shortly before Wolf 1 is taking off there is car driving straight through Wolf 1 (no collision is happening but not so good for immersion) - after we visited the Admiral and I got a confirmation message that I leave their radar zone and was already past Batumi I still get messages from the Carrier to watch my altitude (it seems the trigger to deactivate those messages isnt working) - also noticed some minor typos in the subtitles anthill (Ameisenhaufen) / until bevor / before vue / view That's it for now. Will continue to fly the campaign in stable. Looks very good so far.

  24. Yes, "it doesnt feel right to me in comparison to the other warbirds" is the best I've got. If you all say it's fine then I'll rest my case as I dont have time/commitment to do real tests on it. I'm just amazed sometimes at the things she can do from low energy and then the almost instant-takeoff... really? :)
  25. But still you can almost take off like a helicopter. It justs feels strange in places.
