  1. Big congrats to ACE (Sung Ho. :pilotfly:
  2. ok :) Thanks :)
  3. I place a single sa-13 in red state and fly over after 4 minutes. Sa-13 engages at roughly 2 nm before i overfly it. I don't get any indication on the harm display. I will try sending an ai into the threat zone and see if it shows up on my harm display.
  4. sad that it wasn't streamed, hope for some youtube then :) EDIT: Just saw Moltar's explanation on the no stream :)
  5. Thanks :) Yeah I started like 50 nm from it. I'll go try that :)
  6. Hi all :) So like so many others, I loaded my harms and had a sam site at WP1. Had Wagner's video up, to back me up. Harm page is on and all is powered up. Flying to waypoint one, getting close.... Nothing on the harm page ??? Now over the waypoint and raw goes off with a tracking sound and 4 seconds later dead ?? Hmm what went wrong here...hmm thinking... The genius that I am, I loaded a sa-13 which is electrical optical tracking system. Haven't tested the harm since....tough pill to swallow ;) Thank god it is just a simulation hahaha :)
  7. OP Won Eurolotto ? ;)
  8. I repeat. 1. Rules have been set! Like them or not they are set!. 2. Again going over maximum goes with a random risk, that is to great to make a factor for proper training. You can go over maximum but it is not without a cost you can't predict other than 99% of the time it might be bad. This by the way goes for many things in life :) (I have seen many muscle injuries on the soccer field due to above maximum ability.) 3. You disagree, and you have made your point and I think I got it many times. No need to repeat it again and again. It is entirely up to you to compete or not under this rule set. :) Overall goal should not be missed, This is for charity and if it goes well it will be repeated. Post your own tournament with your rule set, nothing stopping you :) No matter what you decide, be a sport and go donate :)
  9. But real simple. Rules have been set. Start training to comply. Cool insight from real pilots is always great . Thank you :)
  10. Steels ya popcorn from my Viper at 16 G's ;)
  11. The new shite is that enableling xmp actually over volt's the cpu, as the memory controller is in the cpu. So if u are unlucky you will fry the cpu. Source:
  12. First overclocking is a gamble, like running on a highway blindfolded in rush hour. Simple, the culprit could be hardware or software. Turning 70 different dials at the same time to fix something will get you nowhere, just as a racecar team :) U might fix one thing and brake 10 other things and so on. Just ask the dcs coders, And during a long life of just working, i've seen things that are not explainable, power off and on and all is good, a solution with no feedback great ;). I run (look at my specs) a constant setup, hardware wise. And in my 30 years or so dealing with computers, I have done the 70 dial thing and came up short. There might not be an easy fix and you have to accept that before you gun down x y or z :) Frustrating ...oh yes and hell raising pissed off level, check, but it works or it doesn't and sometimes it is out of your hands. I've been blessed with "slow performance" and a new a b or c made it better. I've had one faulty motherboard in 20 years or I didn't understand how ram config worked. So if you out of the box try to stress hardware, you will get the gremlins as well. Two major points are overclocking and wifi and do them both and I'll leave ya as fast as you can say why ;) In short hehehe it might be a dcs thing or a hardware setup thing. In dcs defence, yes the coders are saying in secret "we should have made this on a fixed hardware setup like the ps4 or xbox". The dcs software seems to behave well with hardware at this moment, is the software bugged, seems to be and dcs is suffering more bugs than other multiplayer companies. Dcs needs to be playable even if not great at all times. Wait are they doing the 70 dial thing too ? if so I'm out :)
  13. An old one from me :)
  14. Your Welcome :)
  15. Check your control scheme, mine was off some time ago. I added the thrustmaster mfd's , and many controls were duplicated there.
  16. Thanks man :) "If you have an inflight engagement, its probably the front seat stick actuating meat puppets fault for not holding AOA" :pilotfly: hahaha.
  17. Not a real life pilot, but WO should, in my book, start your waveoff procedure, you might still trap due to the circumstances, but you should try to go around in a safe manner.
  18. U might be free tastings at the supermarket as well :) (pre corona) Some of the points, many people on these forums are making, is because they have waited for a long time for what we have today. So if you shop DCS today, it is a very different picture. I jumped on in 2008 with the ka-50 and from day one, "uhh a Usa fighter bird like F-18/F-16 etc when" :) We got F-18 30th May 2018. And it's June 8th 2020 and it is not finished. Just stating that fact. The hole carrier thing is a love or hate thing, but it is still one of the toughest operetional things, you can do as a fighterpilot. :)
  19. No shakephere here ;)
  20. It is more along the lines of not wasting 20 gig on something i'll never use. My question still stands. :) And if missing will they be redownloaded ?
  21. Hi all :) Can I remove plane liveries not bazar ones, without breaking anything ? ex: Mig-21BIS 2.4 gigs. Thanks :)
