I had been using a specific Overclock Profile for my GPU for 1.5 years. The Same GPU OC Profile was applied through several GPU Driver updates and three Windows Version updates. Specifically: Windows 10 - 1809, 1909 and 20H2. I was always getting the odd DCS crash but after my last update to Win10 20H2 and DCS 2.7 I was getting too many crashes. Last week I scaled back my GPU Over Clock settings making them them less aggressive. DCS has been much more stable with no crashes for 3 days. Part of me wants to put on a tin foil hat and go all conspiracy theory on how Microsoft is possibly doing stuff with their code so that CPU and GPU Overclocking is less stable and more people upgrade their computers sooner. LoL. However; there is no way any trusted big tech company would ever Nerf their produce with updates in an effort to get customers to upgrade. Cheers JJF.

@UlfBert, good question. One short answer is today there is no "official way". There have been 2 instances, so far, where you can indirectly get some unsupported mods to work by flying a supported plane first then making sure the next plane you fly in DCS is the unsupported Mod. Example 1: Fly the M2000C. Next fly the MB-339 Mod and you will get some SimShaker Affects. Example 2: Fly the A-4E-C. Next fly the excellent new VNAO T-45 and you will get some ShimShaker Affects. Try to fly some other Supported Prop planes in DCS like the TF-51D, P51, Christen Eagle..etc. After each try the Edge 540 to see if you get a result. Since none of this is supported and SimShaker for Aviators is Free in the first place, I do not expect any of the above to work consistently or after any updates. Good luck.

@WinOrLose, SimShaker for Aviators (SSA) automatically detects supported DCS Module Aircraft and Helicopters when you first fly them in DCS. There is the following message in the SSA ->> Attention: Tailored aircraft entries are only added when a support aircraft is used in the simulation! That message is your reminder that the Current aircraft will be detected when the plane is loaded. You can hit the refresh button in the Model Field to have that updated if required.

The Barthek Hangers in Caucasus Redone 2021 are a few shades more colorful, look more alive, cleaner, less washed out and not depressed looking when compared to default. I originally started this mini review trying to make it sound like a Fine Wine Tasting.. but then went with a Pre vs Post Pandemic theme. LoL......

I will take the Caucasus Redone 2021 Reserve Summer Blend with the Taz1004 Better Trees v5 Dark Low. Also give me the Mustang 2.7 Shader edits on top. @BIGNEWY - From a "But wait there's more" marketing perspective - ED should seriously consider adding some or all of the most popular Caucasus Terrain and Shader edits at the same time that the Free Marianus Map is realeased.. lol.. (It did work for me just a few minutes ago as I had to test) Have you tried the following: Responsiveness to 0% should be all you really need, but you can always crank up the other settings. Gaze tracking settings Responsiveness 0% <<< Technically this should be all you need >>> Sensitivity gradient Exponent 5.00 Inflection point 0.99 Start point 1.00 End point 1.00 Limits Yaw 0<> -0 Pitch 0<> -0 Good luck..

My understanding of the articles I read was that the Polling Rate "glitch" was a TOBII only thing. Take into account that new versions of tobii and windows updates have come out and the situation could have changed. Hummm.. .Maybe it is like the current Pandemic situation for the last year. Interesting: It is almost like ACTIVE PAUSE got activated, but I know you did not activate it. Was there any messages in the Mission DEBRIEFING Notes upon quitting? (I would doubt it but never hurts to ask).. I can take the C-101EB in for VERY-HARD landing that completely destroys the gear and the Instant Action Mission always says successful.. lol

Hi @M0ltar , sorry to hear about your situation.. If I follow the pattern of troubleshooting JetSeats - Have you Tried the Reload The JetSeats Firmware Procedure? Re SimShaker for Aviator Beta download: It worked for me 5 min ago.. Can you try downloading using another browser?

@=Andre=: Brilliant! I was hesitant to ask about other power adapters with different Amper ratings for fear of causing issues with the JetPad. When I get a chance to try a 9V 1 or 2 Amp adapter I will.. Thanks!

Hi @Eaglewingscongradulations on your purchase. I am a new JetPad owner too and went thru similar learning curve and am constantly making changes - it is like a 2nd hobby lol. Comments: I feel that all settings and strength of each effect is subject to personal preference and also the individual strength of the motors on your JetPad. Here is a MUDSPIKE Story that talks about haptic feedback and Simshaker for Aviators. Some of the discussion can be applied to JetPad. Page 5 of the SimShaker for Aviators Manual (SSAManual.pdf) has a Description of Effects. [HELP >> User Guide] As a suggestion: Try Turning off all the Effects except the one you are tuning. Then choose the strength you prefer. Do the same for all the other settings one at a time. I agree. For anyone that has more than a few planes, having to MOD all the default.lua's for your planes is far from ideal, especially if the planes are Early Access and subject to getting new keybindings from the devs during monthly patching. My peeve is always the airbrake.. lol. As @YealmRota mentions there is a "New - DCS Input Command Injector" that Quaggles posted recently. It lets you add any custom Joystick and Keyboard binding to your Saved Games and you only need to Modify Data.lua in DCS\Scripts\Input folder from the DCS Main Game folder. Check out the DCS forum Thread here with details and comments from those that have downloaded it already. cheers.

Hope you got your C101 Axis binding conflicts resolved by now. A few of the warning / conflict binding messages for the C101 prevented me from applying most of my axis after the last update. I managed to work around it by doing a few things and eventually got the errors cleared. I first tried clearing the conflicted bindings and then Resetting the category to defaults - then left the game and came back. Good luck.

It is so REFRESHING when a piece of software works as documented on the first try! A10C test was smooth.. Thanks @Quaggles I have an X56 Throttle and spent a lot of time updating all of my jets joystick default.lua's so that the Speed Brake slider worked properly. Once I move all my updates to @Munkwolf's skeleton I will not have to worry about future DCS updates and new default.lua and bindings etc.. AWESOME! Any gaming mouse will let you adjust your polling rate (or Report Rate) using their provided software and some may have buttons on the mouse to change the rate. For example: I use a Logitech G700s and to change polling rate I installed their Latest Logitech Gaming Software For any other mice you probably need to download it's driver or an equivalent utility. Can you take a quick look at your CONTROLS Menu? Check UI Layer. Does the End mission Action have the "Esc" Keyboard binding assigned? Maybe the defaults got changed / corrupted or overwritten? Cheers. JJF.

@Barthek, I just installed Caucasus Redone Summer 2021 with no other Terrain or Tree mods: It looks like you took lessons learned from the excellent Normandy map that you fixed and applied some of it to the new Caucasus. I can say that you did not waste any of your time doing this update, it is another beautiful effort. Thanks. The trees look really good and I know I removed all other mods.. Colors and detail in the summer look less saturated now. I have been using Mustangs shader mods for so long I had to install his latest 2.7 Shaderedits v0.7 after initial testing just to see. - Yes! I like the new Caucasus even more. If you could figure out a way to get some red roofs on some of the homes/building it it would make ED literally blush! LoL.. I hope ED is monitoring these threads and will do the "right thing" in a future update.
