  1. I've done this alot before, but never with route mode on..Think I'll try this tonight..Thanks for the tip !
  2. It should maintain it as long as you are trimmed before hand. If you can let go of the stick and maintain speed and alt, you should be fine. I've pitched up a few times, but I just quickly retrim and it's all good.
  3. Me too..was taken out twice..amazing how slow r73's look when they are coming straight at your windshield...
  4. Nice ! Would be nice to have some ability to defence against jets..
  5. That's a great little .pdf you made. Thanks ! I'll try this out tonight !!
  6. I like the idea of austere landing strips for FC2 and DCS. The Su's are designed to land on rough airstrips, so why not ?
  7. Pagefile is on C:\ - no partitions. I'm not using Readyboost or anything.. Where do you get that it's a USB driver fault from the above ? I can't see anything stating that..But on that note, I'll see if I can get new chipset drivers
  8. Thanks, I had tried that as well..
  9. Hello all, here's my problem. I have no sound either in cockpit or out in 1.02 BS. Single player works just fine and the problem is ONLY with DCS BS. Steps I've taken.. 1. Confirmed all volumes are up in game, control panel, TS 3 and creative alchemy software and tested - Heard everything. 2. Updated all Creative drivers I could, all Directx End-time's (several years worth), and ran DxDIAG. All came back no problems found, etc. 3. Uninstalled all MODMAN mods one at a time, and tried multiplayer - no joy 4. Uninstalled DCS BS (deactivated just to try it out), and reinstalled 1.0 version, and then patched directly to 1.02c - Fired up singleplayer - sound works great. Fired up multiplayer - nothing at all. (TS 3 can be heard in game) 5. Tried adding the line to the autoconfig.cfg file, as per PanzerT's thread from a while back, no joy. 6. Verified all settings state "headphone", and all windows properties for sound are (currently) 16 bit, 44,000. (tried different ones, still nothing) 7. Disabled Soundblaster X-FI and ran mobo sound only -AH HA !!! Sound - but in game sounds are very, very quiet. I have to crank the sound up but that in turn cranks all the other sounds up as well, such as TS 3, etc. 8. Checked properties, now it says 24 bit, 44,100. I'm not at a loss as what to try now..anyone ? EDIT !!!!!!! I feel like a complete idiot now...I alt-tabbed out of multiplayer and opened my volume control..Well la-de-da..there is now a volume slider for DCS BS there. It was on 4... I moved it to 15 and all is good...I have NEVER seen that before..ever.....

  11. I'm getting frustrated with my DCS BS install, which is fresh, and happens with / without mods installed. It seems within the first 30 minute of flying in DCS BS, I crash and reboot. It doesn't happen in any other game or in singleplayer. After the initial crash, it works fine. Any ideas ? This is what I'm getting from the reliability log in Win 7 X64: "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff80002daaf8c, 0x0000000000000000, 0xffffffffffffffff). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 042411-32791-01"
  12. I'd be willing to do a voice over for you..PM sent !
  13. Can't find the fixed version on lockon files... where is it?
  14. The mavericks will not burn out. It is not modeled in the sim. I cant find the ED Testers post on it but I believe it was from 159th_Viper.
  15. LOL.. First post was yesterday and there are already 12 pages..awesome..
  16. You can do what others do.. Take some screenies of the offender that shows proof, forward them to the admin of the server, et voila..banned. Or... join a sqn, put the time in, get admin status and sort them out yourself.. Has worked for me.
  17. I set up everything uing the SST software for the x52. I also erased all the joystick inputs (button presses) within the game except for the actual control axis that you want to use. You have to set up each aircraft individually now, but you can just ensure that the common buttons are mapped in the SST software and just use one generalized profile.
  18. Best of luck ! As mentioned above, feel free to drop by the 159th (primarily UK based) for some help if needed.
  19. The EO time limit is just a warning. There is nothing but the warning modeling game.
  20. I've got my NVG on/off and brightness up/down mapped to my x52 pro on the wheel button of the throttle. Works great and with default bindings as well.
  21. The patch works, but IIRC you have to use the most current version of MODMAN to use the patch..perhaps that's your issue.
  22. +1 ! Excellent ! I've never liked 2 joysticks at one time !!
  23. I've only got 9 1/2 hours towards my PPL, but my cousin used to fly CF-18's back in the day, now he flies a desk in Ottawa.
