  1. I watched the "film" last week..AFter the first 10 minutes I forced myself to continue watching only because of the planes...Brutal acting etc... 2/10
  2. Thanks..thought Mustang was a seperate uninstall as it was a seperate install outside of DCS World. Cheers
  3. Can someone point me in the right direction to uninstall P-51D 1.1.1.1 so I can install the newest patched version ?? Can't find any way to do it and Revo Uninstaller doesn't list it as installed.. :music_whistling:
  4. True..but if they can do it with a helo in BF3, why not a jet or helo in DCS?
  5. I'd love a two seater jet to play with.. FSX does it, Battlefield 3 does it.. why not? I'm sure it's been discussed a 1000 times, but still...
  6. Page 34 > "..Hamilton Standard four-blade, hydraulic, constant-speed propeller with a diameter of 11 ft, 2 in"
  7. I haven't checked, but is there a failure setting that can affect the guns? If so, just have that failure start at 00:00.
  8. I posted this in another thread, but thought it might be better as its own.. Here's a thought.. When they release the patch for both A10 and the Ka, will they be small installers like the P51D? That way, those that have already purchased those titles can hopefully just use their previous keys, and then uninstall the 4.5ish Gb installs of both A10C and BS2, saving ALOT of HDD space (I have a back up install of both as well, near 20Gb for all combined). Makes sense really as DCS World only requires the flight model installed, not a whole new terrain because it is already in the DCS World install.. Maybe I missed something, but I haven't seen anything about this.

  10. I noticed the wheel brakes too. I just loaded my old FC2 Saitek Rudder profile that set my wheel brakes as the W key through the profiler and they worked fine. Would be nice for individual toe brake axis though..
  11. A10 - have it, never really got into it but from my limited flight time, pretty damn easy to fly even with 1 1/2 wings and a single engine. Accurate weapons that are pretty easily deployed, and really keep you out of harms way if needed. Love the GUA though.. Harder systems to learn in the beginning. Ka-50 - Fairly easy systems to use except for the ABRIS, but like the A10, can be learned with study. Flight - hold on to her!! Sometimes decides to do some pretty neat things on it's own, and unless you have all the AP dampeners on and in a auto-hover, going head down can be a PITA when engaging targets. Best of luck RTB'ing with one engine and failing systems and rotor damage. Both aircraft have their strong point and weak points, but are really, two completely different birds that really shouldn't be compared. Try them both out is the best option. Personnally, I prefer the Ka-50.
  12. I use it for BF3, gives me a 40% process decrease. I have noticed that I do not suffer from the Micro stutter anymore when I use this and the gametime.maxvariableFPS 59.95 command prompt option. I use the boost mode as well, I don't like things automatically running when I click on the wrong icon by accident..
  13. I remapped all my engine level / throttle levers to my numpad on the kboard. Works great,,maybe give that a try. As for inporting your old BS1 profiles to BS2..don't...They will not work. I had to reinstall the sim to sort it all out the first time I did it.
  14. Pretty good looking!
  15. Whoa...too many buttons and flippy switches.... :)
  16. You get used to the layout of the messages after hearng them for awhile in all honesty. You just take what you need from it and ignore the rest. And there is always the written text in the pop-up window anyway if you miss the verbal indication.
  17. PM'd Bonedust for some more info..Hopefully my JTAC work doesn't go to waste..This is a great mod !
  18. Nice mod! The term "break" is really only used by US forces, which for this sim is fine, but from personal experience, I find it rather annoying when doing exercises/combat (in RL) and they are talking to me and all of a sudden "break" comes on the net, and then they keep talking right away..What's the point? What the Canadian military does is either say the term "Serial", such as "Serial Alpha, Grid 234 088, Serial Bravo, exgress north..etc". The term "serial" just means line. We also use "Line" (either one, doesn't matter), such as "Line Alpha, Grid 3423.....Line Bravo...." If we are pausing because we have a long message we use the phrase "More to follow.." which is what I believe "break" is to mean. This is usually done after about 3 lines of info so that the recipient can read back the info if needed and verifiy it is correct before the sender continues. I don't think this is easily implemented in the game though.. Bonedust was working an a replacement voice pack for JTAC, etc as well, but it has not been touched for awhile.. I'll PM him for more info.
  19. I know this is a late reply..Yes... Females are allowed in Combat Specialties if they pass all the testing same as males. We have females SPEC OPS soldiers as well.
  20. Pretty interesting.
  21. Can't find it under user files yet...
  22. Very nice. Have to DL later today.
  23. Just so you know, after 100m, the hit percentage of the RPG with the PG-7 warhead drops dramatically. At 200m, tests have shown only a 51% hit probability, and drops to 9% at about 400ish meters. These are real life figures, not game. Perhaps useful to you.
