The manual start is actually very easy once you do it 2 or 3 times. MUCH easier I find then with DCS BS..which still gives me issues after over a year of flying it..

I have this as well except sometimes it saves on only one weapon station but the others are all default (for example, I've got 4 LGB's loaded). I've been programming individual stations as I need it right now. I don't see the need for renaming the profile as It was never like this before. What if I want pair to drop instead of a single for one target ? Does that mean I have to have 3 or 4 profiles just for one weapon ? Doesnt make sense to me.. You can see IR lights at a surprisingly far distance...

In Afghanistan we put IR chem lights in clear water bottles taped to our antennas. The number of lights determined what tank troop you were in. Worked great. It would be nice to have this modeled.

Very realistic actually. 25mm used in Afghanistan and Iraq do a fairly good job of it.

Was flying the the sitting ducks mission and my cannon sounded like an empty pop can with a few rocks in it..very hollow and stuttery with no smoke. (Like it was only sounding every 10th round or so). From external view it worked fine, including smoke. This was at low altitude, less then 500' I'd say. Did not have this problem at high altitudes. It almost seems like it hesitate to fire when low to the ground. Min alt is set to zero (default). Anyone ?

I did the sound as 5.1 surround through Vegas 9 platinum, and all the sounds where actually replaced with real-life recordings. I think the gain was just to high, but it worked fine on my Logitech z640's..

Thanks..did this before I picked up Beta 4. I added a 25% black and white overlay, and as for the sound..yes...intentional....(what distortion ? lol)

Just looking at your screenies..On the shutdown checklist you have "Oxygen System - ON"..should that not read OFF ? Looks great otherwise !

I was working at a Maple Flag a few years back (managed to do 4 total in my old trade as Air Defence in the Canadian Army) and we got a tour of 417 Sqn. I was sitting in a 700 series CF-18 and my buddy who was a AVN tech there told me about an exchange pilot they had from Europe. Every time he came back from a flight there would be cigarette butts in the cockpit that they would have to clean up. Seems the guy (Italian IIRC) was a chain smoker and once wheels up , he would light up..too funny. Don't know what happened to the pilot though..

Really? I didn't know that..I'll uninstall Lomac this weekend.. And you only have to use an activation if you didn't deactivcate and then made a serious hardware change such as a new mobo or cpu.. It reads it as you are installing it on a new / other computer

Most likely the same as DCS BS. Extract the .cdds with Modman, edit with Photoshop, reinsert the .cdds et voila.. new modded skin
