  1. Be careful tanking with AI. I've been hit 3 times, twice while refueling and once while just about to plug. In the former cases, both times the AI dove off the hose into me. Didn't matter which side I was on, when disconnecting both dove into me. Seems they like to go inboard on disconnect. The last time I was just about to plug and was hit from behind on the left hose even while the right was empty. No indication or call he was there or cleared in. Now I just stay in lose parade until they leave....

  3. The last update now incorporates the F14A, and I do see it listed in Moose. However Airboss is not recognizing it. I'm sure it's a naming convention error, how can I verify Moose is including the proper name?   4. Indications are that these interfere with the new F-14A update. Perhaps the authors can look into this?
  5. Did the update, loaded up a mission, added in the the A and got....this???? The AI one looks better... Rolled back my version, rebooted, updated to 2.5.6.57949 (openbeta) same thing.
  6. This has been bothersome for some time now. Every now and then when doing A-G in the F-14 I will lose the "Hot Trigger" indicator and cannot drop ordnance. I can switch to AG Guns and it comes on again, switching back to ORD, it goes out and pickle is dead. This happens when switching back from the RIO cockpit. I'll be in the back getting setup for LGB designation and go back up front and the pickle is dead. This can happen after dropping one or two LGB's successfully . I've tried almost every switch and combination, even remap the pickle, just wont come back. Everything else is fine, all AA weapons will/do function with a "Hot Trigger". Switch back to A-G, "Ord" shows up, "Hot Trigger" flashes then goes out. Hopefully its just pilot error on my part, but I cant find a solution. All A-G switchology is set correctly, cycled, reset...I've even tried inverted in desperation. Ideas?
  7. May I add a suggestion to the above? How about "Carrier Qualification" ie: completed the necessary traps within parameters, day/night etc. I remember the P3D program vLSO ( https://cfosfsx.wixsite.com/home/vlso ) had this....
  8. Regards adding DL to CVN-75: "Add CVN-75 to the data link capable carriers" I'm not seeing this as active after the update (prior saved or new mission created). Is there something else to do to enable it? It does not show in the Jester DL Host menu, not sure where to look for the actual freq to input in the RIO pit Has anyone have the DL working for CVN-75? Disregard, I see this will become active after the next update not yesterdays....
  9. Perhaps I'm missing something, is the Data link active on CVN-75? Jester doesn't list it in his options (he does with CVN-71/72/73) I've tried inputting the freq that shows with the other carriers manually in the RIO cockpit, which appears not to work. Is there a script or action that needs to be loaded first in the ME (as in TACAN/ICLS)? This is the system required for ACLS with the F-14 correct?

  11. I've narrowed it to CVN-75, the newest addition to the Supercarrier series. Can anyone confirm if they have AIBOSS working on CVN-75?
  12. Is there an issue with Airboss on the Syria map? I can get everything else to run (RecoveryTanker, AWACS, RescueHelo) . I use the same script for Caucaus and PG, just change whichever CVN number I use. Cannot get it to run on Syria.   13. I see in the F/A-18F folder the models for F, F(A-G), and G. Not seeing the G show up in mission editor, how do I enable it? Not to fly, but would like a Growler on the deck as a static....
  14. Fantastic persistent mission. I've changed the maxairborne down to ease the load. After the initial generation of sorties, after a bit my (Blue) side drops off with no more sorties generated. I've added Airboss in, so do the (Airboss generated) RecoveryTanker, CarrierAWACS, and RescueHelo spawns count as "generated sorties" on my side? What is parameter for inclusion into the maxairborne count? Excellent work, easily my favourite now. Ps, I've made four copies of PP, one starts at dawn, one day, one evening and a night. Doing each in turn creates a "mission day"......I'm on "Day 3" and going well!
  15. Same issues with carriers since update. If i roll incrementally back to 2.5.6.54046, everything works.   18. Fantastic job! I've added the R91 into the US carrier group for strikes on Raqqa using SEM & Rafale. Takeoff from carrier is working very well using "Takeoff from runway" using both catapults. Only one aircraft can land as it parks fouling the deck. How can I adjust the AI parking locations? The aircraft need to be back just a little further to clear the foul line I see this in the .lau, which values are forward/back?   20. Agreed. Rather tired of setting up a mission then getting carrier nicely populated with a few statics, loading up and...."Your flight is delayed please wait..." even with all cats empty...

  22. Thanks, Just want to say thanks for all this Moose work you've done. Top shelf stuff! I traced the error to my recovery windows I was using (borrowed from another airboss file..) Now trying to get RescueHelo and trap sheets enabled. Neither working. The helo just doesn't appear (anywhere..) I have the helo in the ME, named properly and late activated. For Trap sheet logging I dont see any .csv files generated. I get the LSO grades during the mission. If i try try turning trapsheet on in the airboss game menu I get "trap sheet data recorder broken on this carrier". I assume there is a setting I'm missing to turn the data recorder on?   23. Gone through this thread and learned lots. Set up some missions adding Airboss, got it all working except the "Boss" wont recognize my pass through the initial. I've bumped up altitude a bit to 1500 and tried everything from 500 to 1500. Used the smoke markers, tried speeds from 250 to 400, hook up, hook down...even started catching a few good 3 wires...but each pass is "Invalid" "Your next step should of been initial...." I get no further comms past the commence until after I land so something must be failing at that point...any tips?
