Would really like to see some development on this. It would really add to the game but I suspect its on the back burner untill some of the bigger stuff gets sorted out (e.g. 2.5)

Have you checked that you don't have two controllers assigned to the same axis? For example, your rudder and throttle?

You think two months waiting is bad?? The wait on the VEAO P-40F Kittyhawk since pre-sale has been more than 10 months so far ... and counting. Two months should be a breeze.

^ this! Nothing more, nothing less. Nice sense of achievement once you start to tame it. I still have a bit of difficulty transitioning from forward flight into a stable hover with a full missile load, especially in NTTR where you are at a higher altitude and slightly higher air temp.

For an aircraft that is supposedly close to an early access release I'm quite surprised at the almost complete lack of any PR or news on it. By contrast there were a number of demo flights, one by Wags himself and a Q&A as well for the Gazelle pre-release, as with most other aircraft.

Can't find any other posts on this, other than this one. I too have this problem. Did my first auto rotation landing at Creech and landed heavy snapping off the tail boom just before the tail rotor. No other apparent damage. Requested repair from the ground crew via the radio, which was acknowledged and the countdown started as expected. However, when the countdown finished and the aircraft levitated off the ground (as is expected) it then started to shake violently, burst into flames, flipped upside down and then exploded into 9,000,601 bits (yes I counted them all :smilewink: This was in single player NTTR at Creech, returning after a bit of target practice. Anyone else seen this?

^ Indeed. Any content that makes it easier for new folk to DCS is a plus in my book. Good refresher training for old hands as well and you're always finding the odd little things you never knew about. A good story line just adds to the immersion even further. Good work.

Yeah, that is something that needs adjusting IMHO. It currently swings across the artificial horizon too quickly. It must have a very narrow arc. Would be nice if it started to move +/- 20 degrees either side of the required heading, like ILS needles.

Just further to that then, can we assume that we can use this texture pack without any issues when the Caucasus goes from T4 to T5 and into 2.5? Also, I seem to remember ED mentioned something about a new mesh for the Caucasus map. Is that due to be released with 2.5 and again do we know if this will cause any issues for this textures pack? Sorry if this question is dumb, but I'm not a map/ texture expert.

To throw my $0.02 worth in, I think for a first release you should be very proud of your work Polychop. Great looking module which is well developed for an early release. Lots of fun to fly and I even killed a truck last night for the first time. Sure there are some aspects that need a bit of polish, tuning (damage model for one) and some more features to be implemented, but all to be expected in the world of early release. Not quite sure what the go is with Captain Creepy/ Chucky in the left hand seat. Last point, do I think it was money well spent? Absolutely!!! :thumbup:

Good question, or do we need to wait for 2.5 for this? I don't recall if that was stated?
