Wrong or right, its the way I set it too. I've set it up like that forever based on the way the way the A-10C and Warthog is set up. Since then I've kept it the same for all aircraft for commonality and to help the way my small brain runs my muscle memory. On that point, I try to keep as many functions as common as possible on my HOTAS across all aircraft. Dare I say it also seems logical to me as well?

Probably .... but animated deck crew will be just awesome for the immersion factor!!

I would hope that we don't lose the ability to to participate in Open Beta testing. I think the Open Alphs was only released to allow access to NTTR at the end of 2015. I would also think ED are unlikely to retain an open alpha release after the merge to 2.5. Just my $0.02 worth though.

An updated and improved ATC has been in the mill for quite some time. An improved ATC, and eventually the entire comms systems, is the next major improvement I'd personally like to see after dynamic campaigns. Given and improved ATC has been in the development pipeline for quite some time, it would be nice to see it arrive sooner rather than later. A slick, fairly realistic and fully functional ATC system would be such a game changer from an immersion POV IMHO. I seem to recall in some of Matt's NTTR pre Alpha release demo videos (or perhaps it was one of the Q&A videos; I can't quite remember) they actually had disable the new ATC system because they were having a few issues with it.

Have you recently installed any terrain mods? Try running a repair.

Have you perhaps inadvertently set "Depth of Field" under options/ system to anything other than "off"? Worth double checking.
