  1. I agree there is no reason to remove the sight in the ZA. However, I do want to remove it most of the time in the C. Currently checking the dismount sight disables the sight (but does not remove) in the ZA. Either there should be a dismount sight checkbox for each model (which I think would be the best option, as it caters for all tastes), or the single dismount sight should just be for the C and not impact the ZA sight.
  2. @ NeilWillis - I'm surprised you took that bait.
  3. yeah, got caught by this too and cost me another activation. Will appreciate the top up. Glad to see you guys are on this.
  4. @ BeastyBaiter well done for a first post. Thanks for the videos and welcome to the forums.
  5. If you don't get a response to your ticket you might try approaching one of the moderators for help. I had an issue with not being able to activate one of my modules. I waited about a month on my ticket, including several hasteners, with no response. I then approached one of the mods about it and he had a fix back to me almost straight away. Turned out to be a Windows registry issue. Occasionally when I have had a difficult problem I couldn't fix, after doing a bit of research on the forums about the issue I have identified individual/s who seems to have a particularly high level of knowledge on that area. I have then sent them a PM explaining the problem and asking if they were able to help. Not once has anyone here ever declined to help as much as they could. Might be worth a try.
  6. Depending upon the problem you have you might want to try posting your issue here in the first instance for a quick fix. Plenty of very smart people on these forums with a broad range of experience (unfortunately I'm not one of them). As far as tickets go, I've had them answered in a day or two, through to ones that have stayed unanswered for over six months. I haven't tested it lately, because as I said, the guys around here normally have the answer you need.
  7. You need to use the Module Manager. You can launch into that from the DCS main screen in DCS 2.0 It is at the top of the main screen (little squares type button).
  8. I seem to recall from one of Wags Q&A videos that there was not plan for a winter Nevada
  9. Probably time to resurrect the "Wag's trip to Moscow" thread too. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=45782
  10. Agreed.
  11. The revised/ updated ATC has been in work, on and off, for quite some time. At one point it looked like they were aiming to have it out by DCS 2.0. Who knows, they may still achieve that before 2.0 makes it to open release (slips wishful thinking cap on)?? A fully blown ATC system is without doubt the feature I would like to see most now after a dynamic campaign system (and we already have NTTR).
  12. Enigma - Thanks for sharing that video by Jack Flash. I've been struggling a bit with that ILS symbology and that helped a lot. Well flown too.
  13. I was hoping that if I set it there it would apply to all aircraft, rather than the generic axis settings that get applied to all your controllers. Unfortunately it doesn't do that.
  14. Milestone event Team ED. Congratulations! All went smoothly for me.
  15. Given the release 1.5 and Open Beta 1.5 are the same I take it that we are safe to copy across our Open Beta config files, missions etc, to the release version? Just to be clear, I'm talking about copying across the contents of: C:\users\me\Saved Games\DCS.Openbeta over the top of: C:\users\me\Saved Games\DCS
  16. +1 Very well put QuiGon. Couldn't have said it better!! I'm just glad that there are clever people like RAZBAM, ED and the other 3rd Party Devs that are willing to make these modules for us. Some here really need to remember that if they can't deal with WIP, missing features and bugs etc., then they need to stay well clear of the Alpha and Beta areas of DCS.
  17. Hahaha I'll give you a +1 for that.
  18. Using torrents via the DCS updater is a fairly new feature and it has needed and received some serious tuning since DCS 2.0 was released.
  19. Agreed. Effect seems way over the top, like being in a small sail boat or something.
  20. One would think that given you have to invert the respective wheel brake axis commands for every other DCS module with individual wheel brakes, it would be a matter of common sense to map these in the same manner for the M 2000C No?.
  21. Drive past that every work day!
  22. one can only imagine what it will be like when the F/A-18C and F-14 A/B are about to drop....
