On my website we only post patch updates when we have a fully tested build, Customer have no idea when the next patch is coming they know there is an update once we inform them that a new build is out. Similar to Microsoft's philosophy with Windows. You either get an update once it's done or go beta channels to test new stuff at your own risk.

Imagine a kid coming home from school expecting dinner only to meet the demise of mom saying "you won't be eating today, I will tell you why later"!!! PATCH TUESDAY blues

Tried that same problem, I have to play with reprojection off for the new openXR version to work

--force_enable_VR or dcs.exe --force_disable_VR this is still broken for me with reprojection forced

trying to add open xr to command line I get this error. null DCS is not running anywhere nor do I have the file open

You can still use SteamVR, just start the game in SteamVR mode. Start SteamVR first

It be a memory leak issue but I am only speculating. I find it hard to play VR with 2.8, it gives me a headache when I take my headset off after flying for 15 mins.

It seems there is some polling effect introduced. these are with low settings and the resolution dialed down to 30%. With these settings in 2.7 I would be hitting below 11.1 ms Frametime. This would be with Reprojection ON. Settings are at High for VR.
