Ya I would buy the warbrd or T50 if I had confidence that I would actually get it now but customs is taking their time with things now it looks like. Also Virpil is not really able to give firm ship dates with my communication I had with them. I think they are getting hammered just like everyone else with getting things they need.

This black screen started with mine the last 3 days. Mine will go black for a few seconds then come back. No crashes. I tried every USB port and swapped DP ports as well. My windows 10 is a new install on a new SSD. Running latest NV driver as well. I am getting yet another Reverb from BH Photo tomorrow to see if that one has issues as well.

I am just glad there are people that know how to create these things.

They should also allow us to keep up foreign relations with one specific gesture.

Honestly I did not like the way it looked at all. It looked like it was a home built kit airplane with cobbled together parts from various planes. There was a lot of pointless empty space inside it that just makes it feel and look unfinished. I flew it for all of 10 minutes and uninstalled.

Hey I just got my internet back after 3 days but I did get the spring but it took 11 days to clear customs for some reason. I was thinking I may order a Virpil base instead but shipping is rough from them as well. I did try the green spring out and honestly I am not seeing anymore precision or control. I got it to help with AAR but the gimbal in the Warthog just isnt smooth enough I think or at least mine isnt. I get a lot of resistance still with the green spring and the lack of linear input feel is still there.

Ya i removed the earphones and use my Philips open back headphones and the sound is great. Not expensive either. Side note I had a good friend try VR out for the first time. he has never played games before either. He was really skeptical when I told him to try it out thinking it was a waste of time and money. After about 10 seconds he was sold. He then puked 5 minutes later.lol VR virgins He wanted to go back and do it more though. He couldn't understand how it tricked his brain into thinking he was in the plane.

The reverb is nice but there are some issues with the earphones. I just got two pairs from different vendors. Both had issues with earphones. One was broken off and the other set had one of the screws jammed and couldnt be removed. Plus it had more screen door effect in it. I sent that one back. The image is pretty nice for the most part though the FOV is narrow. I think overall you will like it.

Awesome ya I posted something up for him. Looks like I am not the only one with issues. The earphone thing is a big problem with them. Lots of people having broken ones.

I think it will be on sale until then but dont hesitate just buy it. It is awesome:thumbup:

I know it is a steal. Now I am trying to learn how to fly it and land without the plane tipping over with the slightest rudder movement on the ground. The nose wheel steering is crazy sensitive even tuned down. THe plane acts like it is on a knife edge when taxing around. I am playing in one server and everyone is flying it now and there are about 40+ in the server.lol The frames are suffering so i went to instant mission to fly. The plane is so much more stable than the hornet. That may be because the F16 is not really as high fidelity of a model. I hope they keep developing it.

Ya I am sure you are right. This one is going back to BH tomorrow. I also couldnt remove one of the earpeice since the screw seems jammed on. The other side came off easy. There is a QC issue with HP for sure.

I still have the Reverb I got from amazon a couple weeks ago and was going to return it due to it having a busted earpiece. I spent an hour going back and forth with the new one I got from BH Photo today. Noticed that the one from BH was built in Sept 2019 and my other one from Amazon was made in Jan 2020. The SDE was more noticeable in the BH photo one for some reason. I doubt anyone would have a frame of reference since most people just get one and done. There is also a brightness difference with my original one being brighter. Also another odd thing is that in SteamVR the resolution scale at 100% for both headsets is a little different. The One from Amazon was at 2212 x 2160 and the BH Photo one is 2196 x 2156. The default IPD is also a little different. I doubt the small res difference is responsible for the increased SDE though. Not sure if they switched the type of displays used from one batch to another. I did not notice any difference with mura between the two though and the shimmering edges of buildings and trees is the same. If anyone else has been through more than one pair of reverbs, I would like to know if these types of differences were noticed.

ya i saved the file and restarted but still runs at up to 70+ fps and not smooth at all. Going back to old method it runs smooth at 45fps.

Still really juddery for me even with higher FPS. Not sure what I am missing. I put back the // in the settings file and set the steamvr to motion smoothing enable and legacy reprojection on. I did restart steamvr as well

no idea what that means. Does that mean putting the "//" back in and setting it to auto like it is at default?

So I think i did this right but I deleted the entire line in the settings file and these are my steam settings. I do not see anything locked at 45fps but rather the FPS fluctuates with the settings in the pictures. fps is 40-73fpsin free flight in the hornet on caucasus

Bought the F16 since the last day for 50% is tomorrow. With my dcs miles it only cost me $18!

So you went in and deleted the motionreprojection line in the settings file and just did it in steamvr now? I have not tried this yet.

I would buy the foxxmounts if they worked for warthog controls. I would still have to wait 7 weeks to get mounting plates.

I am not super picky about the length as I think anything will be better than nothing. I would need the longer cable that works with it of course. I ordered a green spring from sahaj 2 weeks ago and it is stuck in customs and there is no way of getting it out. Was told by USPS that it may not even clear because it is from Poland and that is a red flag of some sort for some reason. When I ordered my MFG rudder pedals they got here in 4 days last week and cleared customs in an hour so clearly there is something to where it originates from. SO I only want to buy from someone in the U.S. to avoid this issue again.

I ordered a green spring from Sahaj and it shipped back on the 7th. Been sitting in NY USPS facility it says since the 11th but he was also out of the silicone rings that I ordered and no info on when he will have more.
