I have not put in enough time in A/G for the cat to have tried messing with CCRP too much, however, I do know that rockets are meant to be area weapons and are not particularly precise, though in some other platforms accuracy does seem to vary. I would not expect to hit very precisely with Zuni's. You could just play chicken with the enemy and fire at a shorter range, though that is fairly risky.

Every aircraft comes with a default button mapping for most, if not all, flight control combos. In my experience I don’t like the default mappings, except for the A-10 and the warthog HOTAS. I usually have to mess with bindings for every single aircraft. The good news is, you can save and load controller profiles, so if you find a config you like, you can load it easily. On your right side, below the RIO cockpit lighting panel, there is a IFF control panel. Though based on the labels, it would seem that the panel has no function.

Are you applying full brake pressure immediately, are you using a keyboard key to brake with, or a button? Its possible if the above is true that you are essentially slamming the brakes on a car at high speed thus resulting in skidding. If you are using an analogue input for braking than its possible that the Anti-skid is off.

Yeah, those definitely go together. Proper carrier landings are challenging and a lot of fun. The f-18 is a solid aircraft to start on, it can do many roles.

The viper will have JDAM’s they just are not in yet, if you look at the store page for the Viper, I believe it lists some of the weapons that will be simulated.

To my knowledge, SRS is effectively the de-facto communication method, apart from Discord and text chat. Concerning etiquette when trying to fly in coordination with others, in my experience it has been very spontaneous. In every case I will usually use text to ask a specific pilot or group of pilots what their objective is, and how I could help. On some servers, especially the Hoggit servers Human Ground Control Intercept/AWACS are pretty easy to coordinate with using SRS, usually it goes like this: “[AWACS Callsign] this is [Your Callsign] [Your Airframe] loaded for CAP, ready for tasking.”. AWACS will usually respond and task you how they see fit based on your load out, be it CAS,CAP, SEAD etc.

Is the Maverick cross fully closed around and tracking the target after it is moving? Or did you lock him and fire before any movement? Mavericks should definitely have no issues hitting moving targets so long as they are tracking correctly.

The A-10C II is meant to replace the original A-10C. As far as I understand it, A-10C will not be purchasable at some point in the future.

MAC (Modern Air Combat) is like a sequel to Flaming Cliffs. It will be it’s own separate software with a bunch of simplified DCS aircraft with more simple systems and startups. It’s the stepping stone between something like War Thunder and DCS

I know I personally really like RIO, its just a little challenging to get random people online to let me do it. I'm sure its just because I am a stranger to these people and presumably they do not trust me. I have always found it fun on the rare occasions I get to RIO.

What weapons are you trying to use? Are you in the air to ground or air to air master mode? Are there any “dud” cues on the hud?
