For me Huey has same response in 1.5 as it does in 2.0,,works fine.

Reporting back. Clearing the read-only tag on the Saved Game folder cleared up all the "access-denied" errors. Big Difference is now I have some info in my module manager pages!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to spread that around. (if you saved game folder has gotten marked as read-only, your gonna be asking "What's wrong with my Module Manager??? Everything is Missing????!!)

Thanks to both of you! I'm not sure what happened in this instance but almost everything in there is read-only. I'll reverse that problem and run some more checks. Thanks again.

I was digging thru the log files for 1.5 this morning and noticed quite a few errors logged. Most of the errors had to do with not being able to access some lua files in the Saved Games folder. I got to checking and found most of mine are read only, which explains why I couldn't save key binding changes lately. So my question is, how many of those files are supposed to be read-only? I think I may have had a slight screw up somewhere along the line (win 10)

Click on the yellow folder at the top after you have clicked on "save profile as". Keep clicking on the folder icon and you will see that you are "descending" thru the file or folder structure. Just keep going until you descend to where you can see the list with all of the aircraft. (it can sometimes be a little fidgety to get the click on folder icon to work) then click on your aircraft selection, you will drill down thru, aircraft/input/joystick and finally the sim version or game version folder..... if you setting up for sim you pick the sim folder, don't forget to rename (or select the key you wish to overwrite) the file you are saving. When you go thru this process of saving, just remember it defaults to the last keyfile you worked on.

So, provide your "fix", please.

You put a new MB with the same OS install? How's that going to work for you? That leaves you with quite a few mismatched drivers.

Good idea, but don't forget framerate cost. You would be loading extra data into GPU memory to be able to see outside of helicopter along with inside the cockpit. Of course they wouldn't have to load the entire outside surface, but still.....

So, you don't know or remember your login at the Store? If you are sure your login name is anlq, then when trying to log in at the Store there is a place where you can say you don't remember password. They will send you a password reset email. Change the password to something you can remember, then you can login in the sim, If module manager still doesn't cooperate, then try this; You can use Windows Explorer, Navigate to the Main DCS Folder OpenBeta or OpenAlpha, Hold Down Left Shift, and Right Click on the /Bin Folder and Choose Open Command Prompt Here. After the bin> at the end of the line,type in dcs_updater.exe install RAZBAM_M-2000C Looks like this (end of command line ->......bin>dcs_updater.exe install RAZBAM_M-2000C

It is in there, I checked after update and before I downloaded the module. Its the 2000-5, as mentioned.

It's taken me all day to find a way to get this thing (without a working Module Manager) and I'll be darned if I'm gonna complain that it is a beta. It's a real smart Christmas release! I'll happily take it, bugs and all. It's an early preview of whats to come. Same as with all the other Betas. Thank you Razbam.

I feel ya!!! I did get the update but module manager is laughing itself silly at me.... but I'm no longer laughing at it. I'm sure your not laughing either. By any chance did you add a line somewhere that was offered by Skatezilla (I think) that allowed us to connect to a certain update server a couple of weeks ago. It was during the time when we were all having problems getting 2.0 My updater quit working at one point and didn't work again until I managed to find where I added that link. My onlly problem now is getting a way to install the Mirage.... I own all the other modules already. P.S. 4 repairs have not done squat for me

I've had same problem for a couple of days

I don't have inside info, but with 8 - 10 years experience with them, (especially since Madcat took over), I wouldn't hold my breath while waiting for finals. I have been able to work with the latest betas, but I finally gave up with MadCat driver idiosyncrasies and went to Thrustmaster.

There is no center press on POV1, only center press on stick is the CMS switch. Check manual.

Wish I could remember specifics. The problem is not with the installation program per se, but the fact that the drivers get screwed up rather easily. The fix that I used a couple of times, involves going into Device Manager and in the Human Interface Devices you can probably find the device with an exclamation point, open properties pick update driver and then point it to checking for drivers on your machine. It should find the USB device that is installed and giving you problems. Make sure to pick the one at the top of the list of those drivers found. Maybe you can find better directions elsewhere or someone else will speak up. This has saved my bacon at least twice, when I have taken computer down and later setting it back up, I plugged Saitek devices in wrong USB port
