OH MAN We had a church with this set up I THINK and had to RMA the video card twice for lines. It was a 9700 .....I think its the same creative set up but not sure. Your running sound through the video card right???????? If so junk the video card and find a new set up. Ok read thread some more........yeah make sure you update your IDE drivers and get on ultra dma for sure. What motherboard you got? OK those were first thoughts and i read some more.......... Double check your motherboard drivers. ATA 100 drive is udma 5 ata 133 is udma 6 you can dl sisoft sandra for free and see in there where your harddrives are at or divice manager make sure they jive. I have been playing this since day one at my own pace. GG your right AI can screw up but i would say after all this time its over 75 % reliable that if radar is on for 2 seconds the target is going to turn around to fire.

I can tell you all the reason for this. Its the same way a high tech color laser printer or copier works. On a color copier or in the color world we have 4 primary colors. Yellow cyan [blue] magenta and black. The way color reproduction works in a color laser copier is that the yellow of the image is layed down first on a belt, then cyan then magenta and finally black. When all colors are on the belt it is transfered to a photosensitive drum and then to the paper. For this reason black is never a true black cause it has to try and compensate for all the colors under it. From these four colors all colors are made. On a lcd each pixal can make yellow blue and magenta and black..BUT black is also a mixture of all of the primary colors , again black is last and so far we cannot produce a true black on any color device at this time. Things can only be tweaked to help. The same kind of story goes for scanning any document placed on a color copiers glass. 3 colors shine up together onto the glass to reflect all of the colors of your document back into the digital cells of the copier and from that a complex measuring occurs. This is another example why we dont have a true black. In a Analog or digital black and white device we can have a true black because we only use white light to reflect off the paper in a copier. Black is black and white is white. A crt basically shows us a true image because we dont have pixals shineing three colors on the class[ or at us ] trying to make what ever it is told to make. Black is made last in the digital color world. Confused:) The 940b is the best performance and price you can get samsung has a new lcd out but its very expensive. When buying a LCD first go for performance and quality then judge how good it can make a close black, im on a samsung 997 df I have the space :)

Very much seems to be, I dont play online much ....:) but when I try to be silent I can tell you its only futile. Yeah in single player it works its in the training, .....................track with EOS and they wont know your there........pop radar on and get instant reaction most of the time. Sorry I cant be more detaled at this time, being silent and losing lock and then giving a sign i am there is news to me. I have bigger fish to fry online at this time.

There is nothing wrong with 2000 , I only made the leap because I work on computers sometimes and do need to be more familier with XP and besides that friend had a free activation laying around. Yes like most techs we have waited this long to mess with XP. There is good and bad so far this past two months I have been gaming on it. I was hoping that I would find some huge advantage but since going from a socket A to a Scoket 939 that alone is night and day. I cant tell the complete story since I broke it out on my new 64 bit build that im on now. In addition to that I had been hoping that the 64 bit OS was going to be worth a damn and as far as I can tell it hasnt been even worth installing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! piss me off M$ :( Again alot of people are claiming Vista is actually going to work and come with driver and hardware makers support. We will see, I remember alot of people singing the blues when XP hit the public and cause compadability problems, example printers etc. Your not missing anything that I can report. Actually the biggest advantage is for people who want to put up with or trust system restore and a built in firewall that only works in one direction. Down.

Well sounds like you got it handled. If someone is interested consider something else than restore. How about this get your system like you want maybe its even 20 gigs big and backup that partition using norton ghost to another drive. Takes about 20 min or 30 min for 20 gigs. So if you get locked out of windows just throw ghost floppy in and restore the partition and your done. I can vouch for ghost . It will restore and back up partitions correctly and quickly. I have just starting useing XP from 2000 and I am not impressed at all. I think id rather jump into beta testing Vista when I think about all the tweaking XP needed to handle my memory correctly. dang wish I had that heatsink then i could just screw my 80mm fan on it. You know its interesting how alot of people were saying that the 6600 gt was really held back by the nforce 2 and kinda woke up on a 64 bit chipset.

Consider this, look at ghost recon , or counter strike or any game with a decend MOD following. I have so many of those mods, many of them have movies in them made by the clan etc etc. Big file downloads , thats easy lets say you end up with about 5 gigs of divx files or whatever. Turn the whole thing into a bit torrent and upload them somewhere.

Yeah id blame heat if I was 30 min into a game or something. I have never seen a freeze since getting XP under control. But Ive been sent back to the desk top once in FEAR. That was about 40 min into the game and I was thinking heat there. I think another reason why was fan was really starting to get loud as I have been running comp with sides off i could tell this. I am trying to finish a better cooling set up for the card right now.
