ah ok, make sense. i haven't understood the purpose of the speed vector of a fixed point (speed 0, no vector lenght) but now it's clear. Another question: in the first bonercat's post at note two, he told that we mustn't use RNG button as it change range from our position to waypoint. so i suppose that i can add a waypoiint if i know Bearing from my position and distance? so i think i've absolutely misunderstood everyting. good. What exactly is a speed vector?. IronMike told that it was used to drow borders, but if the dimension doesn't change with the TID range, i can't have a correct information right? ( probably i'm 1000% wrong, in case,please tell me!) Hello everyone, I wanted to ask you for some clarification on the functions of the Datalink. yes to chuck's guide and the manual, they talk about existence of the DLWPT. do these waypoints enter in the Mission Editor as the various IP, FP, ST? Second question: in the cap, there are WILCO, POINT, CANCO, ENGAGE. according to the manual, they should be functional. beyond the technical purpose of the button, which in addition to being well explained in the manual are self-explanatory, what is the purpose in DCS. È sempre stato il mio Mito, ed il motivo che ha fatto nascere in me il desiderio di diventare pilota, che spero di realizzare. A prescindere dai vari credi religiosi, ascenderà supersonico dove riposano i grandi uomini che hanno fatto la storia, e ci guarderà dall'alto battere i nostri limiti e spingerci ai confini dell'umanamente fattibile come lui stesso fece. Non so se alla taverna che fu di Pancho a Muroc verrà appesa una sua foto, in quanto non è morto volando, ma ci ha lasciato un pilota che aveva La Stoffa Giusta Buon Vento Chuck!

@QuiGon but you still need to visual designate the initial point no? @eatthis For a sort of CCRP i think you could use lantirn pod and manual delivery mode. it should work. ( i always use GBU-12 in Strike mission and mk82 CCIP for cas mission). if the lantirn didn't give you the release point (but i think it should do it), you can easly calculate the release point. you only have to choose a "standard altitude and speed " for your release and calculate the release point with your data, so you haven't to do all the calculation every time, but only the adjustment caused by wind I hope that i've helped you, Snakeice

Hi @Reccelow, actually the datalink on CVN-75 is inoperative You can't do a cold and dark startup, as DL is required for carrier ins alignment and you can't use it as host to use ACLS. That's why CVN-75 was released in the last patch and heatblur doesn't succeded in adding it to his datalink in time. Have a nice day, Snakeice

Buongiorno a tutti, Sono Snakeice, membro fondatore del 6º stormo virtuale. Dopo anni passati a volare su xplane 11 con i PA-200 tornado ed Eurofighter, abbiamo deciso di aprirci anche a Dcs. Su questo fronte siamo veramente a zero, abbiamo la struttura ma ci mancano i piloti. Data l'assenza dei nostri principali velivoli, abbiamo deciso, in attesa dell'eurofighter, di cimentarci con i Tomcat ed A10 in sostituzione dei PA-200 ed F/A-18C in sostituzione degli EF-2000. All'interno della nostra Squadra abbiamo una scuola di volo avanzata, che parte dall'insegnamento delle basi di volo alle strategie di combattimento avanzate con il velivolo scelto.
