  4. Hello, I may be wrong here, but various executions of my scenario missions raised the following question I have a SAM site which includes several LN103A and LN103B launchers. I also have two incoming bogeys flying at FL300 and 100 nm away. It seems to me that they are only targeted and fired at when they come close in at something like 15 nm, although the LN103A has a much greater range Am I wrong here or am'I missing something ? Should I avoid mixing LN103A and LN103B SAMs ? Your help is welcome, and many thanks for your amazing Mods

  9. Hi, the missile protruding problem has been mentioned recently. The solution is to add the following line to the ship's LUA file (without quotes): " GT.WS[ws].LN[1].show_external_missile = false;" I had the panel textures problem, but this was due to a Mod conflict. It is solved for me now. Thanks to Admiral for his superb Mods ! Enjoy.

  11. Hi Currenhill, as you advised me, I just set up a new mission with the strf9040 as the sole included Mod. Unfortunately, its tracks also appear all black (see screenshot below). Attached is the log for that mission. It contains the following error, which doesn't explicit at all any real reason after the: "Reason:".... "2022-11-01 06:58:13.406 ERROR DX11BACKEND (960): Failed to create shader resource view for /textures/cv90_new_track.dds. Reason: " I'm not at all an expert here, so I have no clue. I hoped it was due to a Mod conflict, but it doesn't seem to be the case. The tracks for all your other vehicles display fine, by the way. I use the last Openbeta 2.8.0 version.   12. Hello, it seems that I can't get the Lvkv9040 tracks color, which appear all black. See the screenshots below. A missing texture ? Besides, the AAA of the tank is very effective at shooting low flying aircraft ! Thanks for your help.
  13. Thanks Currenthill, well I thought I had set the Red Alarm ON, but it must be a bad mark on my log... And yes, you're right, I already moved the radars from their initial locations, but probably not enough to get them clear of obstructions (in fact, I wanted to still have them partly under cover among the trees...), but it seems that the Unde 23 radar rotates above the tree tops, thanks to its extending arms. Maybe not high enough, though ? I'll try again, anyway. Thanks for your help !
  14. Hi again Currenthill, thanks for your answer. The RED Alert option i suggest for the LV 103 is similar to that offered by the RBS 98. Concerning the low flying aircraft defeating the RBS 98, the Unde 23 STR and the Elde 98 LN are positioned as statics, and erected automatically, but very late (they have the EPLRS ON and RED alert option ON) : the aircraft are approx. within 5 nm, flying straight and fast at 560 ft above the sea. This said, they are all part of a larger scenario involving the Admiral Kasatonov fighting against pairs of Arleigh Burkes, D650 Aquitaine frigates, and Visby FACs.... But still, I have an AWACS (E2-D) flying over at 26.000 ft, with EPLRS switched on. Below is my mission, in the Marianas.... Very exciting Mods indeed, superb work ! Many thanks !   15. Hi Currenthill, am I right in saying that the LVS103 system has no EPLRS feature available in DCS, and no RED Alert option either ? I've only used the mobile version of its elements so far. For the RBS 98, it seems that it can be defeated by low flying aircraft (flying fast at 500 ft or less), as in real life, I guess... Excellent Mod, indeed.
  16. Hi, on the other hand, I scored a hit on the Admiral Kasatonov frigate sailing 58 nm off the coast, with one RBS-15 missile skimming 19 ft above the sea. However, this was the only hit among 8 RBS-15 missiles fired by a land-based mobile launcher.... The Kasatonov defense is very effective against Harpoons and RBS-15... Many thanks to Currenthill for his excellent Swedish Mod !...
  17. Hi, Adm. Kasatonov class ship hit by 2 Rafale B firing Exocet missiles from 35 nm, and flying at 6000 ft and 490 knots... It was simultaneously attacked by naval units and firing anti-ship missiles at 2 Arleigh Burke II, and missiles against anti-ship missiles fired by 2 HSwMS Visby FAC. Fly low....
  18. Well, considering the excellent quality and variety of e lements in your work, I think that the interest in your Mod will expand much further than just users interested in Swedish power.
  19. Thanks Currenthill for splitting the Mod into 4 separate Zip files. The download is currently working form me, even though with fiber optics, the speed seems limited at 8 to 11 Mb/s. But it works. Looking forward using your superb Mod. Thank you very much for sharing your very impressive amount of work.

  21. Hi Hawkeye, Excellent video, indeed ! Many thanks ! I finally managed to sink the Kasatonov also, after 25 minutes of naval battle against 2 Arleigh Burke and 2 Duncan class ships, with no air support at all. The ships came in the end as close as 8 nm, and the Kasatonov used also its forward gun against them. The anti-missile defense of the Arleigh Brurke ships was very effective against the Kalibr anti-ship miisiles of the Kasatonov. Many Harpoons were fired, but not many did hit, and the Ka-27 ont the aft deck was damaged (you can see it smoking in the screenshots below). But one Arleigh Birke was lost, and the 2 Duncan escaped... As mentioned previously by Admiral, the Kasatonov is a beast.... A superb Mod , of excellent quality for sure.
