  1. Size #1 would need a big pillow to sit on.
  2. It didn't look that good. I'll stick to default green.
  3. Yes, that's it. Thank you.
  4. Not sure how I missed those? Thank you.
  5. I remember these missions being converted to use in A-10C II. Anybody have them or know a way to do it? Not sure why the A-10C II has no missions?
  6. I remember seeing a mod for black font for the HUD. I can't find it now. Anybody have a link?

I think the stock spring is too stiff to make fine adjustments around center. The green spring is much lighter and feels like adding an extension but without the extra travel the extension adds. https://warthog-extensions-by-sahaj.com/shop/warthog-green-springs/

You mean the Warbrd base for the stick. Yes, it will be something i'll buy if the Warthog fails me. However, i've had 5 Warthogs so far and none of them broke or got stiction. The truth is I have a WinWing for the Hornet but I felt the Warthog would give me more immersion for the A-10C. I'm surprised nobody is surprised that TM changed the mini-stick. Did you guys already know about it and talk about it already?

  11. I want to concentrate on the Hog and it just seems so right to use a Warthog HOTAS to do it. So, I bought a new one and got it today. What a surprise I got. TM finally changed the slew switch. I guess the gazillion complaints they got about the old one finally sunk in. It looks just like the one being sold on this forum that almost everybody bought. It works perfect. A 1000% improvement over the old switch. So, there's a $100 I won't have to spend upgrading the slew. I'll change to the green spring and i'll be done modding this Warthog. Sorry, if this has been talked about already. I've been gone for awhile.
  12. Don't they always point the boat into the wind? We shouldn't ever have a crosswind landing right?
  13. I wonder if you'd be asking for a new version if you had to buy it again? A lot of companies do that. Formula One comes to mind.
  14. I'd like to see the pilot with the size #1 boot.
  15. Very good. Thank you.
  16. Yurgon..........Do you like the A-10C or A-10C II? Thanks. I hope you're flying at 80 too. It's never boring.
  17. At 80 years old I seem to have lost a bit of memory. Ok, I lost almost all of it. Not sure I gained much by going to the Hornet. I do ok with the Hog but I need a lot of notes.
  18. Reading this thread reminds me why I fly the Hornet.
  19. I balance the TGP with an Aim-120. The TGP is still about 100lbs heavier but it helps.
  20. That's what I figured. DCS must be using some specs designed for pressure to move the controls. The majority are using movement. Just a guess though.
  21. I wasn't planning on removing the cooler. The hoses look long enough that I can just lay radiator to one side while I slip in the ram. Thanks.
  22. Oh, ok. I've been doing it that way automatically. Carry on.
  23. Makes no sense to me. If we don't trim the nose up for landing we'll get a bolter every time. How do you keep the nose up?
  24. A manual would have been nice. I was really shocked that Maingear came with no manuals with the system. I can see how it comes off easy enough. It's on the top of the system. Not thrilled with taking off a radiator full of water around electronics. I probably should have paid the extra money to have them build a custom system. I didn't because i'd still be waiting for it. They shipped my pre-built in two days. One feature the system has that I thought was kind of cool. It came with a small remote with 12 different colored buttons. Press a button and it changes the color of the lighting in the system to match the colored button. Is that normal for todays systems?
  25. I'm patiently waiting but Damn, i'm getting old!
