I'm aware of that and did create a big dead zone to test it. Trackir does create the shimmer. Looking around with keys looks perfect.
No, i'm wrong. It is a very slight movement that made it shimmer. I guess the dead zone I made wasn't large enough.
I have a hunting game I play and the shimmers are unbearable because we're always on the ground. The problem is there's no way to turn off the shadows. I was hoping for a fix in DCS that I could also apply the the hunting game.
My fix ended up being shutting off the shadows in DCS and deleting the hunting game.
There! All fixed!
edit...I discovered in all my testing that Trackir makes it worse.
Yup! One more update and nothing for the Hog.
Speaking of updates. Did an update take most of the dents from the nose? I only have one little dent now.
I have but was curious is something else might help. It's almost all with shadows and I can get rid of it by turning them off but i'm looking for another option if possible.
I'm not aware of that but anything is possible. I'll see if I can reproduce that.
I don't care if i'm to blame. As long as I know what it is I can avoid it again.
Speaking of the Hornet and trim. Every now and then the Hornet freaks out and suddenly is trimmed about 20 clicks up. That's how much down trim I need to apply to get it to fly straight again. I have no idea what i'm doing to cause that?
What would cause that?
I just bought my 6th Warthog and they have all been plug and play in DCS. No calibration was ever needed. Since they come programmed for a lot of the planes. It should work after plugging in. What plane are you flying?
It sounds like a problem with the controller if you're flying a plane pre-programmed.
