I agree the Taurus is more specific to the Hornet but it's too expensive for my budget. Especially, after I just bought a new gaming system and monitor. Orion2 is all I can afford now. As long as the grip is right. I can deal with a compromise base.
I was talking about the grip. The switches on the base seem to be a compromise. The wing fold is obviously a Hornet. They knew they were making an F-16 version and put the AP on it. It would appear an A-10 version might come too.
What makes them the intended throttle is the grip. We have a Hornet and Viper so far. The base will never be specialized to one plane but a compromise.
The Orion 2 stick is getting good reviews. It's supposed to be much smoother around center than the Orion 1. They went from one cam to two cam like your Virpil.
I was just comparing the missions between the Hornet and Viper.
I just have the Persian Gulf map. Adding in the maps I don't have may make this better or worse. Others will have to answer that.
This is how it looks for Caucasus and Persian Gulf.
Hornet.....69 missions and 1 campaign
Viper.......6 missions and no campaign.
How is this fair?
btw.....Instant missions are pretty equal.
What I want to buy is available right now. I can't buy it until my SS check hits my bank account around 10pm tonight. Hopefully, it will still be available at 10pm tonight. I'm normally not that lucky. Maybe this time will be different.
I didn't say it was a big deal. It was just a question.
What's the big deal about asking a question?
Let me reword it so you understand. Is the Orion programmed in DCS? I thought you'd know what I meant.
Look at my join date. I've been doing this for awhile too.
