A10C new worn HD cockpit

Hello,

I started a new project two weeks ago.

This worn cockpit for the wartog is HD and has many new textures.

The uper part is almost finish.

Any help with HD picts would be great.

I initially thought that was a real picture. You can show this to anyone and say that you took the picture at some airshow where this A10 was on display...

They're not the best resolution, but hopefully something can be gained from these.

at the moment Lafaille still the best contributor of the A10C image bank on the net... the guy has a canon5D markII and it helps a lot to get HD quality picts :thumbup:

But even lower resolution picts like yours Tholozor still a great help to increase details.

Any stuff, still hardly welcome to acheive this project :smartass:

The word I used was 'working' in relation to 'air show' and all I meant was that his pics were of much dirtier cockpits than most pics I have seen taken at airshows. I realize the AF does not have aircraft sitting around just for the occasional airshow. I have always assumed that some attempts were made to clean them up before sending them to a show perhaps I have just not seen enough A-10s cockpits at air shows. ;)

After having seen the pics of Tholozor, I've one question:

In this picture, is it an enhanced communication module or something like it? I don't recognize that. What is it?

Remember the A-10C we have in DCS is far outdated compared to the current versions they're up to now.

Not much more attention is given to them as you would think, at least from what I have seen and heard. I've seen hundreds of "airshow" pits and have worked on jets for 13+ years, they look the same to me. I'm sure they clean them up a little, but they don't fully detail them :D

EDIT:

For B-52's if they have a general coming to look at them, they will clean them up. But this is the norm when a Gen or over high ranking person is coming through. For some reason they want to "hide" what we really deal with. That is why some officers have no clue on how some things really are.

Yep. We would vacuum and wipe surfaces down, but that is about it. More important stuff to do than detail every item for an airshow.
