Hello, Trying to update this afternoon and I am getting an error related to the Christen Eagle. This is not allowing the update to proceed. If I ignore the update and just log into DCS, I am greeted with a notice that nearly all of my modules are disabled... I have also tried to disable the Christen Eagle in the module manager and have tried uninstalling the Christen Eagle module with no luck. Please help with any recommendations. Thank you. Just updated to 2.9.6 from 2.8.x so I can fly my new toys in FC24 but upon launching (have rebooted and added the DCS folder to my AV exceptions) I receive the following error: DCS.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point GetDpiForWindow could not be located the dll C:progfiles/Eagle dynamics/DCS World/bin-mt/edWebviewBrowser.dll Not seeing any results for this error on the forum. Currently considering performing a rollback given the lack of other options. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Since about 2 updates ago, I am getting a myriad of false positives on my anti-virus (McAfee). From what I hear, I'm not the only one. Typically, it is a flight model dll in the aircraft /bin folder, or lately the CombinedArms.dll (flagged as an actual virus and not quarantined like the others). This particular one cannot be put on the exception list because it is still seen as a virus, even though I marked it as resolved. Apart from adding all of the individual files as exceptions as they get flagged, is there any way ED can get allow-listed for DCS? Note that some anti-virus packages do not allow folder-level exceptions, so individual files have to be added one-by-one, which of course is a PITA.

Getting this warning when booting the game. Spent time learning how to exclude files/folders from my ESET antivirus. As I suck when it comes to pc stuff, I can’t be sure I’m doing this correctly. See attached. If I am in fact doing it properly, are there things I’m missing? (BTW, I purchased the F15 several months ago. ) thanks for any help

Interesting repeatable bug happening on most recent version of Open Beta. Attempting to fly any mission with the F-5e results in a crash to desktop at approximately 80% of loaded mission. What's interesting is that upon returning to DCS afterwards - the F-5e no longer shows up as a selectable aircraft or as an aircraft in the list at the bottom of the screen (neither activated nor deactivated icon shows up.) In the module list, it still shows up as available and activated. Deactivating and reactivating doesn't change anything. Uninstalling the module then reinstalling the module resets the scenario to the beginning where it will crash on mission load again. I haven't been able to get the crash to work with any other aircraft, but the only aircraft I've tested since then is the Jeff. I removed all mods and did a clean install with a new saved games folder and a complete reinstall with just the F-5E and it continues to happen. I think it's likely linked to a change in the new patch as I was flying it sometime in the last few days - I believe Thursday or Friday at the earliest. dcs.log-20210308-065116.zip

I Got The Following Message After The Latest Update. I Reinstalled 2.9 And Still Got The Same Message. Sidenote: The Icon Was Orange. Now, I Have A Blue DCS World And A Green DSC World MT.

I normally will change from msaax2 and DLSS just to check both out with my Oculus quest 2. I tried to make the change today in the settings and saved but when I go into a server I notice in the settings that it will revert back to msaax2. Very weird issue. I have never had this problem before.

Hello, I've had the Razbam F-15E since pre-order and enjoy it very much, but since this last update I'm unable to fly it. I get a pop-up error message "Authorization failed" (see attached pic) and after that any mission, mp server, instant mission, etc all I get is a map when I select the F-15E for the mission. I've tried repairing my install, uninstalling/reinstalling the module, removing mods, etc but no luck, anyone have a fix for this? Pre-update everything worked fine.

After the update I found that I cannot select F-15E to fly both on multiplayer and singleplayer missions.When i tried to reboot the game,the error of Authorization is valid for 2d 23h 59m occurred.I followed the instructions to use dcs_updater.exe to repair the game, but I still cannot select my strike eagle before the Authorization failed error happened again.Btw I purchased the modules on steam but now playing the standalone version. I have tried reblinding the steam several times and that didn’t work

ED, The latest update broke the game for some third party modules like the Mirage F1. Most anti virus software seems to think some of the modules are trojans specifically the .dLL files. Once it flags them the module is no longer useable and it removes your authorization to use them. Running a repair doesn't resolve the issue because it will not allow the effected .dLL files to be deleted or overwritten requiring you to force delete them. Only solution I have found is to create exceptions for all dcs files in McAfee and then disable all anti virus programs. That seems to resolve it but is incredibly annoying to have to do. Not sure why this update makes DCS elements look like a virus.

Hello, after the the latest I've had problems updating the game. I've seen a post with similar problems but while solution there was to turn off antivirus it didn't help solve my issue. Hi folks, after the latest DCS update the Windows Defender reports DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\bin\M2KC_FM.dll is a PUA:Win32/Packunwan. Timestamp of the file has changed with the update and also its size but there is no patch note about the Mirage 2000C in the release notes. Edit: VirusTotal Scan added

I Think since the last patch i've each time i try to lauchn Mirage 2000c or F15 E i"ve a pop up with Unwanted application detection by Win 10 and a message telling i'm Offline and the 2 modules are blocked If i try to put these i, Quarantin or Delete the 2 modules are not installed and game function well. Anyone have a solution to eradicate this?? If i make no action i've at launvh of F15E and Mirage 2000 C a pop up indicating unwanted application. The 2 product are Razbam wotk Thank's all

DCS stopped opening for me after the DCS 2.9.5.55918 - 05.06.2024 update so I uninstalled and reinstall it. After the reinstall that included all the current updates get "DCS.EXE Entry Point Not Found" when I try to open DCS.

I have seen this message for the last 6 days and the F15e and AV8BNA are not showing up anywhere on my home screen or quick mission sections. They are both fully paid for and authorized. Is there some kind of massive update that is ongoing that is messing this up? This only started about a week ago.. Thank you.

Hi, with the new release, dcs.exe is always deleted, when i set my Screen setting and restart the game. Does anyone know what files needs an exeption? I have dcs.exe and edCore.dll on the list, but does not help. regards

I know it's technically not a bug, but I'm getting virus warnings on 3 files after doing a new installation today. 2 of the files are from Razbam products (F-15E/M-2000) so I thought maybe out of date files, but one of the files was on the Phantom installation. I went ahead and ran DCS multiple times and nothing bad happened, but I get the warnings every time. Can I just go ahead and ignore them?

I've added DCSUpdater to my exceptions, and have never had a problem until... Now of course DCS Harrier doesn't work. Which is annoying because tonight I have time to actually get into it. Suggestions welcome.

Not sure if this has been mentioned by anyone else, but for a long time now, the first loading of DCS in ANY day takes about 3 minutes to get to the menu. Any subsequent load in that same day is fine, i.e. about 20 seconds. Is this a common issue or any suggestions to help with this?
