I have a problem that just came up. Was running DCS 2.9.6.58056 just fine, then updated to 2.9.7.59263. No other changes to my PC. Display is impossible to use. It looks as if the displays aren't lining up, as if the IPD is set ridiculously wide. Unusable, as it causes nausea and a headache within seconds, besides not being able to focus on anything. Also, the head in VR space does not move (forward/back or side/side), only turning and tilting in one place (i.e. cannot lean in to read gauges). No other VR application is affected. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling all VR related software including WMR and SteamVR. Tried using both WMR and SteamVR as OpenXR Runtime with no difference. Also tried cleaning out /metashaders2 and /fxo folders. Settings Screenshots.docx dcs.log DxDiag.txt

Hi, I have two monitors: 1. the main monitor with my laptop and its resolution is 3840x2400 2. the 2nd external monitor has the resolution 2560x1440. I would like to have the DCS MT runs on the 2nd monitor, however, the DCS main screen is out of alignment for all clickable areas. For example this following "Exit" is shifted down where the mouse cursor is: I have my appSettings.lus sets below according to the ED tech support suggests (6 lines only): windowPlacement = { ["y"] = 0, ["x"] = 3840, ["w"] = 2560, ["h"] = 1440, } so that my DCS MY main screen will land on the 2nd monitor by default. I have my two monitors lined up at the Windows 11 display setting: Currently, I have set the DCS configuration for Resolution=2560x1440 with the Monitor="1 sceeen". How can I do to fix the DCS main screen clickable areas out of alignment? Thanks.

Looking for: # 1440p 16:9 monitor. # IPS or VA panel. # 28" or 32". # Freesync or Gsync. # Up to £500 - might purchase more for multi monitor. # Good for night flying - good contrast and deep blacks. Q) I am undecided about a curved screen. Any suggestions of a good curvature for flight simming? Q) Will downscaling from a 4K monitor to 1440p impact image quality? All your thoughts are much appreciated.

Hi all. I have a Dell G7 gaming laptop and, of DCS World. I have a display issue. The window doesn’t display fully. For example, when I do the start up training for any of the modules I cannot turn on the battery because I can’t see it. It’s outside the window. That sucks since I’m unable to train. The correct resolution, 1920x1080, is set both on the Dell and the module. Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks, Gunslinger II

Hi all, I juste upgraded from 2.8.1 to 2.8.4 and I got half of the grey levels missing on a deported display showing TGP (Right or Left MFD). Same issued with MAVS optical. grey levels are OK in the cockpit display but darker on the deported display. Checked on A10-II and not such a problem. So this seems related to Viper only. Any one else reporting this ? Any workaround / fix ? Thanks in advance for your feedback. GL38

well ive tried a few places to no avail, nobody seemed to understand what i ment so i made a video, i hope someone can help me out because i was having no problems the first few times i played and than i tried to up the resolution and something went wrong with whatever i did. it happens in star wars squadrons as well. in SW Squads tho i cant even get past the initial load screen, anyway when i start dcs the main screen is fine no issues at all and than when i select a mission and start it thats when everything goes to hell in a hand basket. the loading screen kinda like almost doubles rendered on top of each other and jumps like in the video here and than when i get into the cockpit it happens more sometimes if i kinda hold my head still and up high it wont move but as soon as i move my head at all the jumping starts. its nauseous and the game is now completely unplayable, i was going to get the p47 to add to my 109 and f15 and flanker mods but i dont think im going to now.... its very disheartening cause i was just starting to really get into the working of the realistic components aspect. someone PLEASE HELP!!! lol thanks yall DCS WHAT!!!.mp4

Any chance we could see the implementation of block 3 HMD for the JF-17? I see there is a button for HMD usage in the cockpit and I know block 1 and 2 doesn't have the functionality (yet), but if we see that block 3 with the Pakistani airforce or other airforces begin to use HMD on their JF-17's, will we see this functionality come to DCS? Thank you.

All Switches and Gauges are working, bitte the export to the Displays i.e. DDIs does not work. I use Helios 1.6.... It would help to know which Files have to be where. I guess that the Files are not at the places where they have to be. Looking forward for your help. Andy

MFD export effect before 2.8.3.37854.1 Open Beta update: After the update: My MonitorSetup: _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('3440MFD+'); Description = '3440*1440' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = screen.width; height = screen.height; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = screen.aspect; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 790; y = 410; width = 620; height = 620; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 2030; y = 410; width = 620; height = 620; } --[[ CENTER_MFCD = { x = 1565; y = 100; width = 310; height = 310; } ]] JF17_LEFT_MFCD = { x = 350; y = 0; width = 620; height = 930; } JF17_CENTER_MFCD = { x = 2820; y = 0; width = 620; height = 930; } F14_TID = { x = 2030; y = 410; width = 620; height = 620; } GU_MAIN_VIEWPORT = Viewports.Center Previously I can see thru the MFDs on my screen and get a very clean view on the outside while don't have to lower my head and zoom in to see the MFDs, this can be a great help to enjoy flying and operating avionics at the same time, since you can choose a position you like to place the MFDs and read the information on them more confortably. Its for the same reason that some people buy a external screen and export MFD on it. building a monitor setup on the screen is just like building a cabin with many external screen at home, the only difference is one is virual and cheaper, the other is solid and obviously more costy. This should not be canceled just because of "simulation", it's player's freedom to display their MFDs wherever they like without obstucting the main view.

The flickering in the video below shows up very frequently while flying. Many times in the same mission. It makes this map annoying and unplayable. I shortened the video to one such encounter to fit it here. But it will go and come many, many times while flying a mission. I have all the other maps and I have never encountered this problem before. SinaiFlicker.mp4 Cairo.miz dcs_sinai_flicker.log SinaiFlashing.trk

Dear DCS chaps, Is there a way of modifying my configuration so that when I'm in my A10C II I see the main view of the cockpit running on my 49 inch monitor in the center with it running in a 32inch sized screen with the MFD's running in the spaces on the unused portions left and right of the main view? I see an option in for the screen configuration to split the screen in to 3 equal parts but I'd like to modify the aspect ratio of the main view (cockpit) so that is larger in proportion then the MFD screens. In addition, is there a way to just have the main view running on a 27 or 32 inch portion centered on my 49 inch monitor so that I only see black bars on either side? Thanks in advance, Stuart
