Hello ED, The Su-33 and Su-27, releases the bombs in pairs by defaultis or all by (Salvo Mode). is there posability to update the Salvo Mode on the Su-33 / Su-27 to have (salvo quantity) to drope single bomb?

ED can give us Su-27M* based on the existing FC3 Su-33 and Su-27 : - 12 paylone hardpoint (like Su-33) - refueling capability (like Su-33) - cheff, flare 96 *2 (like Su-27) - refreshing the cockpit with MFDs - bit enhanced radar, N011 Radar instead of N001 - adding R-77 like J-11 and adding some range to it, and called R-27EA - it will be awesome, if they choose thrust vectoring version bort #711 Aka Su-37 - and if you made it clickble full fidelity.. wow I buy per order Who is with it? * "I edit this post many times to fit in reality, from S-27SM to Su-27SMK to Su-27M"

I keep seeing eagles flying around at mach 2 with ease. Yet, when I try that in the flanker it takes 5 minutes just to get to mach 1.5. I figured it was the weapons drag+fuel weight, so I put it in the editor with no weapons and reduced fuel so it had the same internal fuel as the eagle. The eagle still accelerated faster than the flanker. Ok, so maybe the extra weight of the flanker is causing more drag which is more important than thrust at supersonic speed? I thusly reduced the flanker's fuel even more until the flanker and eagle had the same total weight. Now I was certain that the flanker would leave the eagle in the dust because it has 44 more kN of thrust with the same weight. The eagle out accelerated the flanker again. This time I let the simulation run until the eagle had reached 2000 kmh. The flanker was still creeping toward 1600 kmh. My question is, why is this so? Does the larger airframe create too much drag to accelerate much past 1500 kmh? Does the airframe compromise aerodynamics in favor of high AoA controllability? Do the air intakes on the flanker not perform as well at supersonic speeds compared to the eagle? Does the space between the engines on the flanker cause some kind of drag at supersonic speeds? tl;dr Why doesn't the flanker's additional 44 kN of thrust make it accelerate faster than an eagle of the same weight? flanker-eagle-acc.trk

Hey, I wanted to download a flanker skin but couldn't find a folder with its name, unlike for the hornet. I searched on google but couldn't find any relevant informations. The folders I am talking about are located in Saved Games\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft The skins I put in the FA-18C folder work fine so I assume it is the right place...

Hi guys! Su-27/J-11 cockpit skin that upgrades its Data Link and turns it into a much more informative device. It brings situational awareness to a whole new level. You are able to instantly know range to all contacts that are shown on the screen. You can tell what is the speed and altitude are for each of the contact with minor error margins. I released it few momths ago and it seems first few hundreds of huge Flanker gang liked it so i decided to create a thread for it so more of you guys would know about it and benefit from this improvrment. Cockpit itself is a dark edit of Devrim`s english cockpit. There is a bug where contacts that are in direct visibility and are not obscured by terrain from AWACS do not appear at all on datalink (while being called out by this very AWACS) Also contacts that are visible at some point in time dissapear from DL for no reason ( same altitude, speed and direction and in direct AWACS visibility moment after dissapearing from DL screen. And well within detection range and parameters) To reappear random time after that(few dozens of seconds to few minutes) when at the moment of subsequent appearance its detection parameters are already deteriorated. That goes for both friendlies and bandits. Happens on Su-27,Su-33,J-11A. FlankersDatalinkBug

When trying to use autopilot with game flight mode, the plane randomly pitches up and down instead of holding altitude. The "route following" autopilot mode frequently results in crashing. When I don't use game flight mode, the autopilot works flawlessly at the expense of having the plane stall upside-down all the time.

After my recent trip to Berlin, my interest in the GDR has been rekindled. Therefore I decided to create 2 fictitious paint schemes for the Su-27. First, I'll make a Su-27 in standard Soviet livery, which the GDR would have received as an ally of the Soviet Union. Then I will make another one in the typical MiG-29 livery of the LSK in brown and green. Currently the emblem of JG-3 is shown but I'd like to show a different JG because JG-3 was using the MiG-29 and others were using the MiG-21. So my guess is, that one of those other JGs would have transitioned to the Su-27. Any help regarding batches of different JG is welcomed.

This is a pretty short page but anyone have any clue if ED or the other developers are ever going to add later Flanker models? i would love to see some thrust vectoring Flankers in the game
