Development updates?

It seems people aren't allowed to be dissapointed. Well luckily for me - I'm not dissapointed. This is totally what i expected, and this is why i did not pledged. I do not understand how come update can't be done, even a light word from dev' would make people happy.

 

Yet, i am not mad at them, I wish them the best.

I pre purchased another ww2 sim and the updates on friday were like clockwork. If not pics than a few lines of text.And there was a thread where we can post questions to the devs.

 

If i look at the number of fw 190 development pics and updates(wich are very very few) than i think DCS WWII: Europe 1944 should still be on the right track. Or ? The truth is out there .....

You cant compare two different devs, each chose how they want to hand out updates and to what frequency. Also the 190 is under development by ED, DCS WWII is by RRG, although there is some help both ways on each, they are separate development teams.

I prefer the ED update trilogy. They leave you all dried and sore then bam, announcing P-51D module. huh? what where? :D Love ED.

If you guys want to discuss the communication level based on the KS, that is fine, but lets keep it within the realm of DCS WWII, and lets keep the bickering and such out of it. As well, if you have issues that you want to carry on from the banana forums... then by all means, go back there and carry on with them, this forum is a clean slate for all... if you are offended by something, report it, if you dont like an opinion, state your own, but there is no need to attack anyone else... this goes for both sides of the coin.

This is more related to updates in general, but I´d really like to know if it´s still to early for RRG to say if there are going to be such beautiful bare metal skins for the 109 (and, by extension, also ED´s 190).

I just wonder when that is generally decided during the development process.

Silver it is. All it would need is white spinner with black spiral and blades, white late style balkenkreuz's, black or white wing tips and band to frame. Perfekt!

I have a book, but most sources say it isnt overly accurate, but it was in the discount bin at my local books store so I got it and the Allies one...

I cant even say the images I posted are accurate... I just know that during WWII, the Germans has some nice paint jobs... so hell no I dont want a silver 109 :)

yeah im with you,...i love the german paint jobs...although a "naked" bare metal one as a template couldnt hurt either for skinners.
