docfu Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I realize this is a longshot because the SU-25T is an integral(free) part of DCS World as a whole but I think there should be a dedicated forum just for this aircraft instead of mixing it with general DCS World information. Especially now that there is a trainer P-50 Mustang available, we need to keep aircraft specific questions separate from the engine itself. Comments? Criticism?

joey45 Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Good idea. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. shagrat Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Agreed! Makes perfect sense. In general a sub section for each plane/module is pointing newcomers the right direction. If we could have a standard sub thread layout for each would be perfect... most of it is there, but if all planes have a "flight model", "weapons", "bugs & problems" and so on section, that would be cool. esb77 Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Currently a lot of those questions wind up on the FC3 Su-25 thread, and the newcomers get confused by conflicting answers about guided missiles and avionics. Some people will get confused no matter how the forums are organized, but splitting up things so that the Su-25 and Su-25T have their own dedicated forums the way the A-10A and A-10C do does make a lot of sense. Callsign "Auger". It could mean to predict the future or a tool for boring large holes. I combine the two by predictably boring large holes in the ground with my plane.

cichlidfan Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Having the 3rd party aircraft forums buried under the company/team names isn't exactly helpful to most newcomers either.
