Thanks Sith. That's disappointing to me but so it is. I will also assume I will not be able to choose the 262 as one of my 5 aircraft.

ED isnt really structured for Alpha access, so this is going to be tough for them, I can understand why the are limiting it some... sorry.

Well, my plan right now is to get the four new planes (Spit, BF109, P47, Schwalbe) as rewards, and buy the Dora outright... Do ED a solid because you guys did us a solid :)

That's great then, just they way the new structure appears the 262 looks like an added perk once you get above the $120 level. It didn't much matter to me but loosing the alpha access kind of bummed me out but if it is to be anything like the proposed 190 alpha release the full version won't be that far behind the alpha.

To be honest I was pretty content with the original announcement but yet again ED

goes beyond the call and there is peace in the valley once again. :)

Its been a mess... you can understand how some of the wording is a little messy... but all planes are selectable at any level... so if you backed 20 and you want the 262.. you can pick that.

I think it just got easier for them since only the $120 and up are getting alphas and they already get every plane. I don't know the exact number but I think everyone who was going to get an alpha 190 before was quite a bit more than the just the $120+ backers who will be getting it now.

It might be too close to release to do Alpha on the Dora now...

...aaaand I'm back to my usual only-a-little-unhappy state. Good move, ED!

 

Didn't care about the alpha access that much, but if I can eventually get my Spitfire... it's still going to be hard to decide on the second plane, though :)

I think that's been answered already, not sure where, but I think it's been said that the discounts will not extend past the backer rewards.

Think he is asking if an option can be considered for a discount for backers for modules they dont receive as rewards.... logistically and financially I dont think this will happen...
