My little problem was sorted out very quickly and very satisfactorily. Kudos ED. I don't want to swamp the guys working on this but if you're having problems just open a ticket. They seem to be manning battle stations and are doing a great job.

Opening a ticket is the best way to get results, posts get lost on here for sure...

Sadly with the ticket responceI received, it seems we can't get multiple backer keys for the same aircraft, and as i already own the P-51 and brought the Dora yesterday I guess they'll have to be given to friends/ squadies.

 

Oh well, life goes on :)

I've pledged $41, which, at the time, meant that I would have access to all of the planes as they were released. However, at this time, it only gives me a choice of any two planes. What gives? Will I be able to select more as they are released?

No, at that level you only get 2 aircraft.

Sithspawn, do you know if there is a limit to claim the rewards? I already have the P51D and I bought the Dora a couple of days ago.

If there is, which are the next two aircrafts to be released?

According to Wags last post on the subject this is the schedule:

 

August 2014 – Fw 190 D-9 Dora

October 2014 - BF-109K

December 2014- Spitfire IX

March 2015 - P-47D-30

May 2015 - Normandy Map with period AI units

Other features like the Me.262A-1 and AI-only B-17G are also in development we but do not have a delivery data estimate at this time until these other features are further along.

 

As far as I know the only limit to the backer pages is once you generate a key, that pick is made and cannot be changed.

So my $92 for "Everything at the $10 level, plus a custom-designed project backer T-shirt and TWO digital copies of all flyable aircraft in the game (this will grow with the stretch goals and possibly end up offering a huge value!). Share with a friend!" is now $92 for 1 copy of 4 aircraft and a PDF Manual? Seems totally fair.

 

Can you imagine if car dealerships did this, "Thanks for buying our brand new Bentley Continental but since Bentley is now owned by Volkswagen we're going to give you this Volkswagen Polo instead for the same price, hope you don't mind."

 

If I didn't love DCS so much I'd be absolutely fuming, I'm not even going to try and work out how much it's going to cost for 2 copies of each aircraft now to share with my friend.

Hey can back the project by buying modules as they are released, that is the only option now I am afraid.

Backers page works well. Within 20 mins, I have got my key, downloaded the Dora,upgraded Dcs World and Sat in the Amazingly Detatailed Cockpit.

I think only thing that would stop you from making a pick would be if you chose something with a key and generated that key.... otherwise you should be able to do it whenever as it looks now.

If you picked the Dora, and generated the key for it, you cant go back and change that later.
