In memory of my cat Paul, Sept. 1998 - Aug. 2014 R.I.P.

I had to put my beloved cat Paul to sleep yesterday :(

The best Wingmen I ever had, the best friend one could hope for.

On more than one occasion he walked across my keyboard and hit the space bar while engaged and locked on, achieving the first cat-made air combat kill in cat-history.

Paul, I will miss you

Love & Peace

Lars

Sorry to hear it man.

I traveled that final road with my 13yo Beagle last summer. It's always tough.

Peace.

Yes it's horrible losing a friend like that. Makes you think it isn't worth it to go through it again by getting a new friend. But it is, and there are so many cats that needs a home. For a cat, Paul probably had a very good life. RIP Paul.

Mein Beileid....

Our cat 2000-2012, never returned back home...

Our beloved Border-Collie 1999-Sep. 2013, lost his will to be alive within a matter of days...

I was born in 1990, they were friends and companions during all this time.

It's amazing how one can relate with his pets.

Thank you all !

The hardest part for me, was to decide ...

I may not be God and rule over life & death,

but as a friend you have to make decisions for the best of your friend and not hang on to

ones own wishes and dreams that will not be reality.

That, is the hardest part in taking responsibility.

I once heard a very wise native indian chief saying:

"A warrior, who has lost the capability to cry is no man, he lost dignity, respect, love and empathy for the world he lives in"
